Scandic Kristiansund

Everything, we arrived 00:15 (keeping in touch with the hotel with our arrival time) the member of staff who welcomed us was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Perfect start to the holiday. Very informative and we couldn't ask for more. He was the best (didn't catch his name, but he be superb at his job. Breakfast is outstanding, the best we had in norway. So many different tasty options catering for all diets and preferences. We ate till stuffed and that was the perfect start to our day with a long drive ahead of us. Wish we booked for more than 1 night, 100% book this hotel. The stars should be higher, wow.

We had a superior twin room with view onto the harbour. Very peaceful and quiet. The staff was really nice and helpful and we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was phenomenal. Seldom have I seen such a variety of choice (even for allergicans). I was literally blown away. The lobby and communal area is modern, comfortable and even equipped with working spaces. The room offers free coffee and tea facilities.

twin beds are narrow with soft mattresses; parking is just around the corner but difficult to unload the suitcases if you want to avoid climbing stairs with luggage. (you are actually not allowed to stop on the street and there is a police station next to it)

A good scandic hotel with all you would expect from Scandic: clean and comfortable rooms, some with a very nice view to the harbour, a nice breakfast.

The only problem we had was parking: there were some places reserved for parking of Scandic customers in the parking house very close to the hotel, but the staff seemed not to count the number of parking permissions they sell, so we were unable to find a place to park our car correctly. I had to spend some extra hour waiting until somebody frees a parking spot.

Great view over the harbour to see the coming and goings of the ships and also close to the centre of town for restaurants. The bedrooms were also made up every day. something which wasn't on offer at other hotels

The car park was accessed by steep metal steps, although I drove round to reception to drop off and collect our luggage. parking was pricey too. There was no restaurant for evening meals also.

Central location in Kristiansund Good view towards the harbor. Spatious room, well equipped and with comfortable bed Parking next door for a relatively small price. Good breakfast.

Not that new anymore, and could use some renovation here and there (like many Scandic hotels). Steep climb (only outside stairs) from parking deck to hotel (owed to the topography of Kristiansund).

Junior suite had enough space, was clean. Coffee Nespresso available. Very good breakfast. Three chargers for cars available. You have to be lucky to catch one.

The bathroom was very old fashioned and not in style of the room. An old bathtub with showercurtain is not from this time any more. Update the bathrooms as quick as possible is my advice

Great modern hotel. The beds are comfortable and rooms are quite big and mainly clean. Wifi was fast. We had great view on the fjord. Supermarket is right under the hotel, very convenient. The room was very quiet eventhough the parking lot for the shop was right under our windows. Small fridge was welcomed plus. The highlight was definitely the amazing breakfast. Lots of different choices both sweet and savory.

I would prefer traditional shower and not bath with curtain, but just my preference.

Good location, with parking closeby. Excellent breakfast selection - wide selection for celiac as well as non-celiac.

A large convention during our stay - very noisy and no true quiet spaces to relax in. The elevators were slow. It was awkward bring luggage to and from the allocated parking area.

It offered a good scenic view. The breakfast was very good and the buffet offered a great variety of options.

The toilet flush was hard to push and needed to be pushed with great force. I broke one of my fingernails while trying to push it and it started bleeding.

Nice location in Kristiansund but unfortunately Kristiansund itself is quite boring. Comfortable beds, good shower. Breakfast was great, lots of options both sweet and savory, nice smoothies. Highlight of our many stays in Norway
