Bella Vista Motel Rotorua

Friendly and welcoming staff, clean and spacious room, excellent hot water and pressure, comfortable beds, decent value.

Beds were a bit too soft for our preference, the entrance to the room was a single-glazed sliding door which can disturb light sleepers but it was fine for us and couldn't hear the main road. The only natural light was the bathroom window and the sliding door but need to have the curtains pulled for privacy so it was a bit dark but can be solved with having the lights on. But something for other travellers to take note if they really prefer natural light.

The motel is older style but well-maintained and comfortable, and with a good central location within walking distance of the Eat Street cafes and restaurants and next to a large park with hot springs and other thermal features.

The motel is quite close to a busy road and we experienced a lot of traffic noise in our room late at night and early in the morning. The front rooms would benefit from double glazing!

The room was nice and clean,bedding clean and not itchy like most motels,shower had good pressure,reception was very friendly and made us feel welcome and comfortable.The room had everything that was needed and we were able to park our vehicle near room.We would come back to stay if ever needing accomodation again in Rotorua :).

Nothing much we didnt like my partner didnt like the noise from the street every now and then wheras I am used to traffic noises and can sleep through it all.

We found in the room everything we needed. Heater, AC, good water pressure

Late checkin might be complicated and you need to discuss this with the staff, as long as there is no key lockbox outside. Breakfast is not provided but it mentioned in the hotel guide book in the room

We very much liked being given the 2 bedroom apartment. My wife loved💗the bath. l met Pat, a great bloke who kept my mind ticking so l could give as good as l got. I'd recommend this motel to anyone going to Rotorua. Kathy the (scrubber as she called herself) was a gem very thoughtful, helpful and a delight to chat with. I'd book again tomorrow.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Comfy Bed. Good air con. Handy location with nearby shops & thermal Park. Kitchen facilities & large bathroom. Good TV with sky channels. Views of the lake.

We got single Beds when traveling as a couple for my Birthday weekend away. We had couple on our reservation so why single beds I dnt knw.

We liked the closeness to Ohinemutu, Kuira Park and the town centre. At the same time it was quiet, providing a good night's rest. Good value for money!

There is no kitchen sink, therefore need to take the water from the bathroom tap which was awkward and not easy because of the shape of the hand basin.

A comfortable room with good facilities within walking distance of the lakefront and other attractions. Our room was quiet, airy and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. A good option for those driving who would like off street parking.

Great location - 5 minutes or less to Eat St and lakefront. Room immaculate and well presented with all amenities. Heat pump worked like a dream. Great shower with superb water pressure. Off street parking. Dairy across the road if you need something. Owner super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

It was clean, comfortable bed, good shower. Location pretty good too. Walking distance from the lake and town centre. Staff friendly and helpful with maps and information.

The room was just a bit cramped although we could have paid more for a larger room of course!
