The Lofts Apartments

Great location. Ideal for families, two bathrooms in the apartment we stayed in. Friendly staff. Previous feedback suggested that there may be parking issues but a large carpark is just at the back and cost $20 per night, not bad considering the location.

Was not serviced very well - Soap was not refilled in one of the bathrooms. Could be cleaned better, dust on top of door frames etc... carpet was not vacuumed once during our stay. my wife ended up cleaning one of the bathrooms herself. If no parks are available it would be an issue if you have a car, best to check with them first to confirm availability before booking. We had tradesman turn up to do repairs, they should try to book these visits after customers have checked out and before the new customers check in.

The receptionist was lovely and very accomodating. When we booked our apartment we requested for a car park which the receptionist happily reserved for us. When we checked in, she saw our car was a van and which was way too big for the car parks. She understood we had a new born baby with us so she made the effort find a way for our van to be super close to the door for us. Location was perfect and we had an awesome view. The size of the apartment was perfect for our big island family. Also the kitchen had everything we needed during our stay.

The beds were really old. It was pretty cold in Queenstown during our stay and we had a new born so we didn’t use the air con. We decided to use the blankets that were store in the drawers and they smelled bad. It seemed the blankets haven’t been washed for a long time.

Great apartment with a terrace and lovely view of the lake and mountains from the sitting area and main bedroom. Very well appointed and clean. Good kitchen and laundry facilities. Air conditioning provided (it was hot when we stayed for one night only). Good shower. Staff were all polite and very helpful. Good location very close to the centre of town, restaurants and wharf. Just a few minutes walk to the Skyline Gondola. The nearest Four Square food store is a couple of blocks away.

The car park is conveniently linked to the hotel at the back but it took several fraught minutes after a long journey to work out where to go, and there is a car parking charge. There are a number of stairs to the carpark from the accommodation, although luggage can be unloaded at the front entrance. The lift services the levels with apartments, but not the carpark. The bedrooms would benefit from having fans. The hospitality tray only had creaming powder for drinks. The view was so lovely that we decided to eat in, but could not get the cooker to work and no manual available. All of this was dealt with promptly and efficiently by staff on the premises once we were able to contact them.

The location and views are superb. The balcony overlooking the Remarkables was just stunning. We had a beautiful apartment and were upgraded for free to a 3 bedder as our 2 bedroom unit wasn't available. It was perfect. Meant I didn't need to share a room with anyone. The staff were polite and very friendly.

There was food left in the fridge from previous occupants and we were dying for a cuppa but there was no milk. However, they cleaned it straight away and the duty manager gave me some milk. The duty Manager and staff were excellent, very friendly and accommodating.

The room was a great size, perfect for the 6 of us. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, space to eat and relax. Fully equipped kitchen. The location of the lofts couldn’t have been better for eating out, getting the ski bus, it’s right in the middle of Queenstown. Handy having a washer dryer too. Staff were always friendly and accommodating. Clean towels daily. Room looked a lot better in person than in the pictures! Great view from the fifth floor. The lofts deserves a better rating!

Not much really! Only downside was the shower was quite weak but always hot!

Freea, at the front desk, was amazing. She attended to all of our needs, enabled a slightly early check in, in torrential rain, and was able to extend our stay when a Natural Disaster, and State of Emergency was declared in Queenstown. She engaged workmen to look at various issues with the unit. The location was excellent, right in the centre of town. The heaters worked well. It was 4C maximum in late September.

The only power points in the kitchen required moving the fridge or bending down to floor level. The TV didn’t work, and was replaced late on our second day. The clothes dryer switch was temperamental. Road closures made finding the entrance to the nearby car park tricky. The roof leaked in two places, fortunately not on our beds.

rooms were nice, overall a lovely setup. kitchen generally well equipped. Carpark was handy. Staff were very friendly. heat pump was on when we arrived and rooms were warm. great location close to shops

credit card charge was added when amount was deducted on arrival without being advised there would be a fee for card use or offered chance to use different payment method. paint job of walls and holes in walls in bedroom let the place down a bit. Inconsistent messaging about when or if front door was locked at night. Messaging booking.com sent out about parking cost was inconsistent and inaccurate. Electric blankets were turned on on 2 of the beds - this was odd and is risky as one bed was only discovered in the morning to be on and not everyone wants electric blankets on.

The location is fantastic, the property very well provisioned in relation to set containment. The reception area is great and the staff very helpful. The view of the mountains from our room was pretty special.

The upstairs loft bedroom should have a physical barrier installed on top of the existing half wall as there is a serious risk of a child falling over the wall particularly because the single beds up there are all on wheels and one was actually set up directly beside that half wall which reduced the walls effect as a physical barrier. I moved all the beds together and pushed them as far away from the half wall as possible.

Very central location - walking distance to everything. Staff were excellent and assisted with any requirements such as using centralised washing machine as second stay did not have one in the unit, locating missing kitchen essentials and afterhours check-ins + luggage storage. They also took into account out mt bikes.

Kitchen was missing key essentials - grater, colander, peeler, cutting board, though staff did their best to accomodate.

Location was awesome right in town yet didn't hear the busy road traffic and setting makes it feel off the main road. Room was spacious and lovely and clean a little aged and dated but very tidy and clean. Room had a really nice loge setting and feel. Good amenities in apartments. Only suggestion would be more plug points. Parking was limited and very small carpark, however staff went the extra mile to come back specially after hours to provide reasonably priced parking in covered public carpark which had a door that backed straight back onto the hotel. This was greatly appreciated.

Nothing that I would complain about at all. Great place to stay.
