Van der Valk Hotel Nijmegen-Lent

The staff were exceptional. The menu was limited but of a high quality. The room was clean, comfortable and good value for money. The additional facilities were ideal (car park and gym). The noise reduction from the windows was excellent. You cannot hear the adjacent busy road in the restaurant, and the nearby train station is very quiet. The range of food at the breakfast buffet was far beyond what I expected.

The elevator call panels (touch screens) looked a bit grubby. There was some major construction in the vicinity of the hotel. This was not noisy, but it seemed cheeky to list the views as a feature, when currently the view is dominated by a crane.

Walking into the room you are met with an amazing view of Nijmegen. I had a corner room, so both walls were floor to ceiling windows.... Very nice.... I loved having the Nespresso machine there. That was a very welcome facility on arrival after a long day of travel. Staff was amazing. Parking excellent... Food was outstanding.. Staff were friendly,.... Amazing time had.

View was spectacular. Breakfast was the very best. Dinner was excellent. Wine choice of the family superb. Layout of room was interesting.

We could have done with more space to lay down things. In the bar: when ordering a beer we would like to see less foam and beer poured up to the mark.

Clean and comfortable, very well connected (bus, train), very nice personnel and tasty food at the room service. You can also rent bikes from the hotel and see the surroundings. All in all it was a great experience and we would gladly stay here again!

the room was verrryyyyy nice. My son called it mooie huis. breakfast was delicious. dinner i would like to see more variety. its such a dutch menu. Maybe in a family room you can place a microwave and a changing station to change diapers or something. for breastfeeding moms its a hassle to warm up milk in a cup with warm water. i'm just giving some tips regardless my stay was wonderfull.

the location, without a car you cant go to stores or a cafe. but other than that im pleased

I was lucky to get a corner room on the 10th floor, what an amazing view. Very nice room with all facilities needed. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfast ever in a non resort hotel: fresh honey, fresh fruit juice and smoothies, all kinds of freshly baked eggs, everything you would like. Free, and plenty of parking for hotel guests.

Great views from the room. Superb, modern, well appointed and clean hotel. Staff were really helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

The view was amazing (13th floor), the food was very good and the rooms really quite and comfortable.

Members of the cleaning staff stormed into our room without knocking, the curry at the restaurant was the only food a bit tasteless and forgetfulness from waiters not to assist us.

Good food, very nice to get parking for free. Location is ok.

I had 2 rooms, in one of them there was very weird design - no bathroom or something like this, sink & shower were just build-in in the room, so you have to keep your towels in the room. Not convenient at all ☹️
