The Silver Oaks Inn

Everything! The staff at Silver Oaks was exceptional with us! We stayed 3 weeks (long stay) and they were present, helpful and kindness with us every time. The breakfast is simple but very good (sometimes you have some pancakes or porridge). They organised for us a trek to poon hill with a super guide ! It was a wonderful moment, although we've had to cut back because I've fallen ill. Rame, our guide was super with me ! Rooms are comfortable, super clean and hotel location is perfect to enjoy Pokhara lakeside, Sarangkot or Peace pagoda and shiva. Finally, Puuku, the Golden Retriever, is soooo lovely and have a touch of cuteness of the hotel !

A great stay for five nights. Staff arranged a taxi to meet us at the airport (there is a charge for this). Rooms are good size. Our room was noisy the first night and they gladly found us another room. Staff were always around to assist with any needs. Breakfast was amazing and there were different things daily so it didn't get boring. Front desk can arrange any trekking or other things you could want and will offer suggestions. You can leave your luggage there while you trek, so that was helpful Prices for the excursions are very competitive. They will make a bonfire in the evening if you want. There are gardens to relax in and read if you like. Location is great for restaurants and it's only a five minute walk to the lake. I cannot think of anything negative.

Got an upgraded room with Balcony which was huge and lovely. Location is great and the garden a bliss in busy Pokhara. One of the first hotels in Nepal where I noticed house plants in the lobby, that is how green it was. Breakfast is ok and has some variety between the days. Food can be ordered to the room as well. Stayed longer than intended in the end. Did not try out the trekking service (in the lobby with own desk) but it seems very organized.

Somehow I had to pay 4% extra on my visa payment during checkout and it was not clear to me why (other hotels do not charge this).

I have been several times this hotel I often stay in this hotel for deluxe room is very comfortable and reasonable. This time I booked some activities too like paragliding, sightseeing and tour with very satisfied. This is organised by Mr diilu who is manager of hotel silver oaks inn , this time I found this hotel more upgraded all wel furnished all new beds new furniture and wel designed garden for good morning continental breakfast . I enjoyed lot this time thanks Mr diilu see you again

A fantastic place to stay in Pokhara! Very comfortable room & bed with a lovely hot shower, excellent all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast with unlimited tea & coffee, a beautiful garden to relax in, free refills for your water bottle, and delicious freshly-cooked Nepali, Indian, or western food available for lunch & dinner. Above all, the staff are super-friendly, efficient, knowledgable, & helpful, and the whole place has a truly warm, welcoming and relaxed family atmosphere. Staff can also arrange tailor-made tours, treks, and outings with experienced guides for very reasonable prices. I thoroughly recommend it!

We stayed here for three nights before and four nights after our trek, as we loved it so much. It has a beautiful garden with sitting areas in the front, which is unique for Pokhara and was a lovely oasis. They have a sweet, friendly dog, Puku, who my kids adored. The breakfast was buffet-style and featured different main dishes every day, plus the go-to dishes like fruit, cereal, and toast. The rooms were super comfortable, some with balconies, and we had great hot showers and comfortable sleeps every night. The location is close to the lakefront, but on a quiet street, where friendly people greeted us every day on our walks. A special thank you to the manager, Dilu, who helped us arrange transportation many times, and set us up with an amazing guide, Krishna, for our trek! He even rode with us to the bus station to ensure we got on the correct bus to Kathmandu. Our experience at Silver Oaks was one we will never forget!

Large building, very clean, view of Machupuchare from roof, room was clean, shower was hot, they had one hair dryer to lend for free, outlets near beds, AC (for cold or hot) worked well with remote in room, room locks securely, bottled water provided on arrival, reception speaks English well, breakfast starts early, nice little garden for sitting at the front of the building, plenty of little convenience shops, a few restaurants and cafes on the street (which is off of the main street)

Wet shower (not curtain to separate from toilet, very typically in this part of the world, water was pretty contained), they did not communicate that they wanted me to check in by a certain time, my flight was delayed multiple hours out of KTM (this happens all the time), I wanted to get dinner first but they told me to come to the hotel to check in since it was so "late" (9:00 pm) - I would expect a hotel like this to be able to accept late check-ins, it was a little annoying to receive so many messages and phones calls of "when are you coming?"

Location - just the right spot to be in Pokhara... not directly along the main street but a short 2min walk to tourist street. Love the garden, very local in approach... and the staff are warm and very friendly. The rooms to the right side of the hallway are more recommended, as the ones at the left side can be a bit noisy due to its next-door neighbor. I stayed in three different rooms during my stay due to my complicated itinerary. However, the staff was very much accommodating and did manage to fit my right in the tight room bookings despite of the busy tourist season - very much appreciated. I stayed here when I mountain biked the Annapurna circuit. So, I needed a location that has enough outdoor space for me to build and pack my Mountain Bike - the garden space came in very handy - it is close by to the Mountain bike shop along the Main Tourist Street as well. I would definitely recommend this Hotel to friends and anyone planning to stay in Pokhara. Will definitely come back.

There is nothing much not to like, unless you are expecting a five-star experience. The morning breakfast is quite simple - which is very much welcome, different morning has varied offerings enough. But don't expect a large breakfast buffet.

The best place I stayed in Nepal! Only few minutes walking to the lakeside, the room is very spacious, quiet and the cleanest I've found during my trip. All the staff is really nice and welcoming, they really make you feel like you're at home and they also helped to book all the activities, paragliding, transportation, laundry, etc. There's also a very lovely and friendly dog named Puku. A special thanks to the manager Dilu and Kriti, I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely go there if I'll go back to Pokhara!

Nothing, everything was perfect

I would definitely recommend to stay here! The hotel has a great location. The hotel manager and staff were very kind and truely professional. The manager attended to make our stay the most comfortable and provided all kinds of tours for reasonable prices. Our luggage was lost at the lay-over airport and the next day he arranged it to be at the hotel without us even asking. Moreover, the hotel has a nice garden that allows you to take a brake from the touristy part of lakeside. Room was very spacious and clean. Especially considering the low price, the hotel has a great value for money!
