Quality Hotel Americana Nogales

Chose this hotel for its proximity to the US-Mexico border. That being said, the hotel exceeded my expectations. The entrance, main lobby was spacious and with tastefully decorated. The front desk staff were very professional, and very informative. The room assigned was large even with a queen size bed. The bathroom also was large and clean. The room had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Their breakfast was buffet style. While not a large selection, it was well prepared and presented. Scrambled eggs were plentiful, the refried beans were good. My wife liked the chilaqiles. Plenty of good tasting coffee and orange juice. You could even make yourself waffles.

Breakfast was pretty typical but the scrambled eggs were very fresh and good. This hotel had coffee available in the lobby all day, which is nice.

Could use an updating, furniture is ok but heavy and old. This is a Choice hotel and I'm a Choice member. But I booked through Booking site so I didn't get the benefits or credits for being a member. The manager could have fixed this but declined to do so. So, I would say service was not exceptional or noteworthy.

We had great help at check-in. The lobby was decorated very nice. The mini split heater was perfect because it was quiet. The breakfast was original for the area. The chilaguiles were a a nice addition.

There was a sign outside that said the bar was open for happy hour Wed.-Sun. 5-8. It was closed.

Breakfast was excellent!! Staff excelkrnt, friendly, willing to help when needed!! Clean rooms comfortable beds. Great location, right across the street from baseball field and close to grocery stores an restaurants!!

Even thou we had mild rain the hotel wouldn't let the kids go swimming. There was no storm, no lighting, no thunder, just moderate summer rain. The kids had nothing to do!! It was a little disappointing.

Smell a bit like cigarette in the alleys, breakfast wasn’t great since there weren’t that many options.

Great staff, comfy beds and excellent breakfast. Would stay here again for business or pleasure. Excellent value for the money. A little dated but they are working on that.

Since this motel allows dogs, it would certainly appreciated if there was a little more grass around the building

Nice hotel in Nogales. Great amenities such as a restaurant and bar that can be enjoyed once COVID abates. Friendly bilingual staff. Ample parking. Close to everything including downtown and the US/Mexico border. Costs a little more than other accommodations nearby. You get what you pay for. Stay here when in Nogales. You will be glad you did.
