The staff and building were fantastic and met all of our expectations. The rooftop pool is the best feature. Great location. It is a short walk to grocery stores, La Quinta, and the beach.
There is a high rise building under construction directly across the street from the room we stayed in (Room 301). There was pounding going on from sun up to sundown every day. We had to keep the glass door closed because of the noise. We could not enjoy the porch at all. However, this noise could not be heard from the rooftop pool, so we spent a lot of time there.

the apartment was exceptional. we had all the facilities (cutlery, crockery, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, including oil, some spices for cooking). in the apartment there is also an electric oven but also a microwave. I also had towels for both the bathroom and the beach. the terrace of the apartment was huge, with chairs and a table. the surface of the apartment was enough to organize a party with 6-8 people. I especially liked the swimming pool on the 5th floor, the free private parking and the fact that the building had an elevator. For the staff I have only words of praise, they gave me prompt answers and were always well-intentioned. We were glad we made this choice for our stay in Playa del Carmen.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a total of 1 week, and stayed in 2 different rooms (402 and 306 I believe, a studio and a 1BR). We actually preferred the studio (more open, better view from balcony), but either would have been fine for a long term stay. We used the WiFi to work remotely every day (Teams/Skype voice and video calls, etc) and had no issues. The pool was beautiful and refreshing, the gym was small but it was nice having a couple free weights to use to work out with. 5 minute walk to the super market, 10 minute walk to the beach and 5th Ave, felt very safe the entire time. They explained the electricity deposit up front, we ended up getting 75% refunded (tried to avoid using AC and just keep balcony door open for circulation). Would stay again and have recommended to others who are coming down.
It exceeded our expectations, can't think of anything.

The property was super clean, the pool and gym facilities were well maintained and the location is perfect for accessing the centre. The landlord responded quickly to our questions and was super helpful.
The Netflix account was a bit of a faff to set up. We would advise an oven glove for the mini oven and unfortunately the lift was out of order at the time of our visit.

The room and the facilities were clean and spacious. It's really close from 5th avenue, in its quietest area. We went in high season and still we had no problem to park our car in the facilities. There was a continous communication before arriving, to ensure the we didn't have any problem during the arrival.
We were in the lower floor which in the entrance. Just outside our door there was a vending machine, which made annoying noises. As we arrived late to our room, they couldn't offer us a quieter room or disconnect the vending machine, as they were full and the guard didn't have the authority, however it was offer for the following nights.

Location was very central to many things. The staff were awesome and responsive. The pool area was nice.
The noise from traffic started early in the morning. We had to buy toilet paper. The air conditioner blew onto the bed and the temperature seemed to always be cold no matter where we set the temperature.

My Fiancee and I stayed here for our first week in Playa in 2021, and again now in 2022. This is a great home base to work remotely from while finding a long term place. Homing Bird also has long term places available that are close by if you are interested in viewing those. 5 minute walk to 2 grocery stores, 5 minute walk to 5th Ave. About 20-25 minute walk to Playa 88th, which we prefer over the other beaches in Playa del Carmen.
Had a small issue with a video call on Teams one day, but other than that the WiFi worked great for both of us.

the property was excellent, the internet was fast, the bed was so so so comfortable and the kitchen was what we needed. we could do our own laundry which I prefer. I’m only sad we did not stay longer.
when we looked at the pool in the evening it looked like it had either an semi transparent algae on the surface of the water, or a lot of fat converting the whole surface of the water. we only saw this on our last night when we went to check the terrace (whichI think is small and cozy and enough for a shindig) I have no doubts that if you see something unclean in the water they will clean it up asap.

The location was excellent. It was close to the downtown within walking distance of all the lively areas, but not in a noisy area so you can get a great night sleep. Juan was there to receive me and he gave me a very helpful explanation and recommended a lot of close restaurants and attractions.
