La Aurora

This small hotel is relatively new and in a quiet area close to the beach. It's about a 15 minute walk to the La Punta area which has lots of restaurants and is the surfing area.

They need to replace the towels in the bathroom.

large swimming pool. great location not too far from the restaurants and right next to the beach. helpful staff. daily cleaning. lovely terrace with great views especially in the morning.

The bed was too small for two people and as others have mentioned the shower takes some trial and error. the toilet seat also needs to be replaced as the lid rests on your back! the wifi also isn’t great in the higher rooms. nearby hotel or bar blasting traditional Mexican music on a Tuesday night until 1am

it’s very close to the beach . 3 min walk to the beach and a short walk to La Punta but not in the noisy part . The room is sufficient , clean and everything functions. The team responds fast when you have any questions or problems. The terrace is nice if you have time to kill or just relax when it’s too hot . you can literally hear the waves. the fridge on the terrace is nice to have as you can keep drinks or fruit.

The internet was slow but that’s almost the same everywhere. Sat nights there is loud music from a nearby club but it’s only one night . the rest was quiet for me which was important.

Good location. Relatively short walk (10 to 15 minutes) to restaurants, bars, cafes in La Punta. Very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Small rooms may be an issue for some people but I didn’t mind. would be nice to have a large mirror somewhere in the room. the bathroom mirror is a bit small. also would be good to have a night stand between the two beds in the double rooms.

great rooftop common area, nice to have a pool (and a good pool at that), decent sized room with a great shower (hot and good pressure), helpful staff

wifi was very bad. location was good for us but you should be aware that it’s not at the swimming part of the beach so about 15mins walk to La Punta (close to a great coffee shop though, La Sandala)

The hotel is in a great location, within a few minutes walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The staff were friendly and accommodating. and we loved the pool. The roof terrace provided a great place to relax, watch sunset and to cook dinner.

Good location on a quiet street, close to La Punta for restaurants and bars. 2 minute walk to the beach. On site parking which was very helpful. Overall the hotel was very quiet.

The bed was a little bit hard for our liking. Room was a little small but fine for one night.

location is great.room is really clean and comfortable. we have AC and TV in our room. shower is great with warm water. staffs are super helpful, we arrange the bioluminescence tour via hotel, cheaper and nicer than tour agency. highly recommend it!

Nice location just outside of the 'La Punt bar area' 10 minute walk from there. The location was quiet and a 2 min walk from the beach, although I expect more hotels to be built there. The hotel was clean and the pool was nice

The rooms lack a bit of ambience

we loved the pool, which we always had to ourselves and was great to lie by for a break from the beach. it’s located almost halfway between the main area of la Punta and Zicatela so walking distance from both. great working air con was so worth it

While walking distance from both la Punta and Zicatela, in hindsight we would have preferred to be a little closer to la Punta to make it an easier/quicker walk
