Hotel San Juan

Very helpful and kind staff. Good room with AC and fan. Private bathroom. Good location near Chaudrui a big surface store where to get good food for cheap. Right beside the intercity bus stations, therefore very convenient when leaving the city for good to another destination. OXXO store right beside as well...

The paint at the bottom of the pool is missing in some parts giving the idea that the pool is having gray greenish algae. On the last day we looked closer and realized it was just paint missing so we decided to use the pool.. The water that we perceived at first not clean happened to be very clean. I would suggest the pool is repainted to avoid this confusion.

After almost two days of travelling, we arrived very exhausted by taxi at Hotel San Juan. We spent there two nights to recover from our Jetlag. The kids loved the pool and i loved the flowers and how it is all painted and decorated! Before we checked out Mrs. Olivia was so kind and helped us to find a car which we could rent and she even organized that they drop the car for us at the hotel. This was so amazing as we are travelling with our 3 kids. So we continued our journey and we got frightened when we realized that we forgot our purse with a huge amount of money in it (my husband putted it under the matrace 🤦‍♀️) so he went back to Puerto Escondido immediately to the Hotel to check if it was still there - We still cannot believe it! One of the employes found it actually and gave it to Mrs. Olivia and she returned it back to us! No money was missing! WOW! We are really really impressed and we are so thankful that there are such of honest people working there! Thank you so so so much - again! You safed our holiday! This was the best decision to stay! Everybody was so friendly and we felt really welcome and home! Absolute worth to spend your holiday there!

The hotel staff were very nice and they took care of us. It seems like it is family owned and they definitely make efforts to treat their customers like family by having conversations with us and always so willing to help.

For standards in Puerto, the hotel is above average. However, if you compare to other hotels I've been to, it's not as clean or as comfortable as you hope. It can get loud at night as there's always party people slowly coming in. The room isn't super clean but they do come in and give you fresh towels and soap.

We loved the location, not in a Western tourist spot. Perfect. And delicious breakfast just down the street. Super fun party strip just down from the hotel, yet it stays pretty quiet in the rooms. Cool building with great views from the terrace. Good value for the money. I'd happily stay here again.

That we had to leave after just 1 night. Coming back for longer next time!

The personal was very nice and friendly. The view was amazing and it was super close from a beach. It is close to everything.

The Inter connection in the rooms were bad. The cleaning could be done better. The water was on the colder side and the water has no pressure.

The owners & their staff are delightful friendly & helpful, family run traditional hotel close to the beach & fairly central. Easy to walk everywhere. The pool is lovely.

All good overall, sweet traditional place & easy to forgive that rooms if facing inwards like ours was on dark, side. Internet is ok. No option of breakfast but good value & lovely family run it. Nice place for a few days..

needs to do a little more maintenance. problems with water supply at times, the swimming pool was very clean but needs repainting

fantastic location can walk to most of the beaches. only $70 pesos to la punta. very clean rooms with comfortable beds amazing top floor balcony view of the sunrise. nice and quiet. really lovey staff & owners ♥️☀️

I fell in love with the kindness and love in this hotel also the staff is so amazing and u get for the price a really good clean room and an amazing view 😍❤️. really thankful to stay here with amazing staff
