The Cape, a Thompson Hotel, part of Hyatt

Truly an amazing property with best staff from check in with Marco Vazquez to concierge Bree who was super helpful in planning an amazing sailing/snorkeling cruise, to the pool area with Jaime, the pool concierge and waiters Lenny, Aldo and Leo. It is the place to stay in Cabo=-views from room are the best around and the food was great--try the sushi bar in the lounge for amazing sushi and sashimi. Can't wait to come back to The Cape!

I LOVE this hotel! I have been back multiple times and each time my stay is outstanding. Love the location! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The pool and access to the beach is gorgeous. The massage I got at the spa was one of the best I’ve ever had!

I would like to have some more simple dinner options. The lunch options are perfect, but the dinner options are formal and after a day in the sun we sometimes want a lighter meal.

Loved everything! The breakfast that was included was amazing and had lots of options! The property was immaculate, staff went above and beyond, food was amazing, drinks were flavorful and refreshing. The spa was a hidden gem and walks on the beach were picturesque! Bonus was it was humpback whale season and we could see many from anywhere on the property!

Amazing hotel from outstanding staff. Concierges, Pool staff, restaurant servers all top notch, friendly and professional. The three restaurants on site serve up wonderful dishes and cocktails and the views from the room (especially of the famous arches) are fabulous. All rooms face the beautiful sea. It's really perfect!

The service was impeccable. The food is fantastic. The pool is excellent. The room is very comfortable and clean. Normally I don't like staying at resorts during the day, but at The Cape I didn't want to leave.

It's expensive, especially for a place that isn't inclusive. It's a littler further out of town, so be prepared to spend money on taxi's and transport.

We booked the Cape because of the reviews from AMEX on the cleanliness and limited capacity required during this Covid Time and We were not disappointed ! They had services mist santizers, wand black lights, hand sanitizers in many locations and masks required to be worn in all public places. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, I do find it hard to pay extremely top dollar for limited services - clean towels every other day, housekeeping as requested - not to be expected, longer than usual wait for small things during breakfast, dinner... milk, salt, straw, a glass of wine --- this causes coffee and food to be cold and the experience a bit challenging. Overall - I would highly recommend and will return to this resort !

Stayed here in August 2020. Fantastic facilities, great vibe, great food and awesome staff. The breakfast is of high quality, the cocktails and drinks in both the lobby and rooftop bar are on par with any top cocktail bar in London and the on-site restaurant Manta is excellent. The design of the hotel is great (lobby area in particular is really cool) and the rooms are of a high standard. Little touches like a bottle of tequila in your room on arrival is a nice touch, as you would probably expect from a hotel like this. The caveat to all of this is that it's obviously pretty expensive so all of this should be a given. It does however live up to expectations of being the most popular hotel in the area. If you can afford it, do it.

The hotel is very nice and the service was great. The staff were friendly and helpful during our entire stay.

They need more suites for families so we do not have to purchase two rooms. For a family of 5, two rooms was pricey.

Thank you Jamie and team for making our time by the pool the best! It was beautiful and relaxing with great service and care by the team. We can't wait to come back.

The vibe was amazing with views of the cape, our room view of the crashing waves was breathtaking! The property is well maintained with 5 star service and super friendly staff willing to help with anything! We traveled with 2 teenagers who had an amazing time. We will stay here again in the future.
