Dorsett Grand Labuan

We only booked 30mins prior to arrival, the room we booked was not available. Upon check in the Staff were friendly and helpful. The alternate room was good size, very comfortable bed, in room safe and tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was large and quite clean. Inside the hotel looks quite luxurious and lovely but outside could do with a face lift. The front of the hotel was being done but when you look up from the pool area is a different story. The pool was refreshing and big but not real clean. Pidgeon's seemed to leave evidence everywhere.

The towels could do with replacing.

Staff went out of their way to be courteous and helpful. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We ate in the Living Room. Food and service were both outstanding. Food in the Lobby Lounge was also excellent.

Breakfast foods were very good. However we were very surprised to be told in a 5 star hotel that endless cups of tea were free but we would have to pay extra for a pot of tea. This does not create a good feeling for guests. Our toilet struggled to flush. We did report this. Paint was seriously peeling on the pool side of the building.

Room - Spacious and clean. Breakfast - The food is truly excellent. Location - Perfect. Close to shopping complex (Ujana Kewangan) and others. All good and 100% would recommend staying here.

The swimming pool need to be clean. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel to all. I will give 9.5 out of 10.

Friendly staff, all the amenities complete, facilities are superb, location-wise is great as it is literally at the center of Labuan City.

Smell of old hotel, I don't quite like the smell of it, especially at the hallway of guestrooms. Inside the room also have this unpleasant smell, but manageable.

Check in smooth and permitted late check out at no extra charge. Bed extremely comfortable and quiet room. Staff fre friendly and helpful.

Only minor issue was drainage of bath and sink very slow. Outside refurbishment but this is a good thing really.

All the staff are friendly and very welcoming and helpful.

The furniture and building look very outdated. It could be very pleasant if the building get touch with new painting or new look.

Great cozy stay! The air-conditioning wasn't working on the checked in room, and they accommodated us to a new one. The breakfast was amazing as well

The hotel and room is clean and comfortable, the food is delicious and the staff are all friendly and helpful.

The parking basement is a bit wetty and smelly.

The breakfast is awesome 👍

1) TV cannot be on 2) checked in as couple but only provided 1 bath towel,1 room slippers and 1 bathrobe 😅
