ibis Styles Tokyo Bay

Family of 2 adults and 2 kids (9 and 12) travelling to visit Disneyland. Stayed in a bunk room as booked late, but beds were comfy and kids loved the bunks. Clean nice room with toiletries provided. Buffet breakfast was excellent, so much great food both western and Japanese to try. Hotel was a great price, with free shuttle to/from Disney and the train. Cheap taxi from station if you arrive late and weary and miss the shuttle! They leave down past the buses outside the station.

After checking out I noticed additional charges from the hotel on my credit card which was confusing, the hotel responded to emails via booking.com and clarified the charge was correct but would have been less stressful to get a message about this first, being not used to Yen yet we didn’t realise the room charge wasn’t correct.

1. THE FREE SHUTTLE TO DISNEY LAND AND DISNEY SEA WAS A GREAT HELP. IT SAVED US MONEY. 2. THE OTHER AMENITIES AVAILABLE WITHIN THE BUILDING WERE ALSO APPRECIATED SPECIFICALLY THE ICE CUBE DISPENSER, THE VENDING MACHINES FOR DRINKS AND NOODLES, MICROWAVE IN THE LOBBY AND THE COIN OPERATED LAUNDRY. 3. EASE OF CHECK OUT 4. WALKING DISTANCE TO THE MALL AND THE TRAIN STATION

I WOULD HAVE LIKED IT IF COFFEE, SUGAR AND CREAMER SACHETS WERE PROVIDED IN THE ROOM IN ADDITION TO OR INSTEAD OF TEA SACHETS. WE WOULD HAVE WANTED A BIGGER ROOM BECAUSE ALL 5 OF US WERE CRAMPED BUT I GUESS THE SIZE OF IBIS ROOMS WORLD-WIDE IS UNIFORMLY SMALL.

Rooms are clean and come with a humidifier and fridge Air conditioning is a very nice touch Shin Urayasu station is a short walk away, and you can get from there into Central Tokyo in about 20 mins. Housekeeping service are lovely and efficient Toilet with heated seat and bidet is included

Quite a lot of the things like the toilet and the coin laundry machines have instructions on them only in Japanese. I understand that people can use their phones to translate, but it seems a bit strange for a hotel under an international brand to not provide written instructions for these appliances in English or another language, given that most people visiting the hotel are probably non native Japanese speakers Not much space for clothes storage.

The staff really were amazing, going to any length to make the trip as seamless as possible. Great links to the Disney parks with shuttle pick ups right outside. Lovely breakfast with mix of Japanese and Western options. The rooms were a good size with huge bed and lots of light from the large window. Only a 10 minute walk to the train station and lots of shops and food outlets in that area. 24hr 7/11 just donw the street was very helpful.

The only downside was that the hotel did not accept contact less payments but this is standard as most places in Japan accept only cash or inserted card. Only mattered for us as we had no cash on arrival, but as we had paid upfront and this was just for early check in, we wandered around for a couple hours instead.

We booked this hotel as it was decently close to Disneyland/Disneysea and at a more reasonable price than other hotels in the area without staying in hostel accommodation. For this, the Ibis was great. The room was moderately sized for Japan, it was clean and decently comfortable. The hotel had a great buffet breakfast selection included, with both western and eastern breakfast options. They also provided a shuttle to take guests to Disneyland/Disneysea, which was very convenient. However, would recommend going in one of the earlier slots due to the number of guests using this.

I appreciate that the hotel offers free shuttle rides to Disneyland, Disney Sea and the nearest train station (Shin Urayasu). It is an added bonus that the train station is near Aeon Mall, which provides good dining options. They also have a lot stores to choose from if you prefer shopping. The room assigned to us was perfect for a family of five and it was very clean. Lastly, the hotel staff, especially the people in the front desk was very polite and helpful.

The only downside to our stay at Ibis Style Tokyo Bay is that the air conditioning unit in our room was not functioning properly and we didn't sleep well on our first night. However, the staff in the front desk readily helped and the issue was resolved.

The theming of the room was great and we were extremely happy that there was enough space to access our luggage easily. The beds were really comfortable and we each had access to a side table with USB charging ports and the ability to adjust our lights. Additionally, it was fantastic having Disney TV after returning from the parks. The shuttle bus service was also a huge win and the staff were really friendly in addressing any concerns we had.

There was no bath however the shower and toilet rooms were really clean and functioned well. The main issue we had was that the coin laundry offered at this hotel consists of only 2 washing machines and 2 dryers which meant waiting around a lot to be able to use them.

We booked because of the direct bus shuttle, however we didn’t use it. Hotel has a bus stop (route 17) right outside which is a 5 minute bus ride to shin Uraysu station and then you can catch the train to maihama - Disney resort! Hotel is great in terms of access and flexibility. Family mart also down the road Room spacious and clean! Breakfast was fabulous - both Japanese and western and with a wide variety of food to choose from

Bed mattress topper was a bit slippery however this was a minor inconvenience as it was easily fixed!

Excellent for trips to Disneyland as they have a shuttle. Convenient shuttle that takes you back to the metro station, wish we’d known we could catch it to the hotel also! Great amenities including pjs and more.

The only thing was that the top two bunks that the children slept on were half covered by an overhanging alcove - so either the lower half of their legs had to be under it or their heads. Strange design, and they slept poorly as they thought they were going to walk their legs against it in the night.

I loved Tokyo Bay Area for my stay near Tokyo. The facilities were clean, quiet, and comfortable. I loved the variety at breakfast — both Eastern and Western foods.and shuttle to Disney Parks. I also enjoyed the bikes we could rent via Hello Cycling app just outside the door. For the price, I felt it was a great value!!!! We ended up staying two different times within our month long vacation here because we liked it so much. I would recommend it

The laundry facilities are small and the dryers take a long time to dry—- like several hours since we we’re drying heavier cotton items
