Alpico Plaza Hotel

- Location is just perfect. It's few minutes walk from JR station and very easy to find. Moreover, it's just another street next to bus terminal (which we use to travel to Kamikochi). - Staffs are very nice and helpful. Room is not much space (however it's japanese standard room), but it's enough for two persons, and we can manage luggage and stuffs in the room. Bed is clean and warm. Bathroom and toilet are in one room, however, we have no problem using it at all. There are amenities provided in the lobby where you can get what you use. - Restaurants, cafes and shops are all in the area. Izakaya is just next door. You can even walk to Matsumoto Castle, as the town is easy-and-safe to walk.

The hotel staff were professional and really helpful and accommodating. The room size was bigger than most which was good as most others are tiny. Breakfast was good it was inclusive of our booking which was helpful as there's not a lot open early in that area. I definitely would recommend

We stayed twice at this hotel. The first time the room was too small and cramped for tall foreign tourists and too hot as the air con did not work well . On the second visit 3 weeks later we were upgraded to a large twin room which was excellent .

If you get to the breakfast late, eg: at 8.45 the food selection is poor.

Convenient location with parking slot at fair charge. Assuming that it is freely drive in and out of the car park within effective hours. Remember go to the Reception Desk of the hotel to get details and a map of appointed car park. Souvenirs, wine and Nozawana Wasabi Tsuke , could be shopped at the nearby supermarket , or at the Matsumoto station.

Cool down your room mattresses at a top floor room could take many hours in this very hot summer. *Why not stay at a room at the lower floor!

Location. Cleanliness.

It would have been nice to have a simple breakfast included--I did not wish to pay 1800 yen for a gourmet buffet breakfast, which seemed to be the only option.

Room was available earlier than expected. Location is excellent, right in the center of town. Impressively quiet given proximity to the bus and train stations.

The location is very close to Bus terminal , supermarket and JR station. Nice amenity

A bit old. I can smell the smoke ( from people that do smoking) even in a non-smoking room.

Breakfast was excellent. Good room size. Very good price. Nice and helpful staff. Location opposite train station. This hotel deserves a better rating that it has.

Breakfast room quite busy with tour groups.

I liked the location - right in front of Matsumoto station. Lots of dining and shopping options within walking distance. The price was very well worth the facility.
