APA Hotel Ayase Ekimae

It was very clean. The rooms are very small so as the bathroom not enough space to move around especially the toilet seat area, u have to sit sideways co its jst too but i guess thats normal size in Japan definitely not for big and tall people. The staff are nice and they clean the rooms everyday. Very close to Ayase station. But the city itself is”Adachi” is a bit far away from the main ones like Shinjuku and Shibuya. But over all it was a good time. Plus 711 is jst nxt to it, very entertaining. Lots of stores groceries and restaurants by the stations too. So it was good. 👍

The size of the room and the bathroom.

The room was clean, comfortable and had everything i needed, which was great for my 7 day stay. Huge TV with free movies. All staff were very polite, friendly and professional including the lovely cleaning staff. The location is great, close to Ayase train station, many shops and great places to eat. There's also a 7eleven right next door. I will be back to stay for sure

It's barely worth mentioning, but the fridge switches off when you leave the room so any drinks in fridge get warm. There is an ice machine in the foyer so that helped cool my drinks back down. Like I said, barely worth mentioning.

The room was very cozy and the Hotel was just a 5 minute walk from the next train station, which is pretty convenient! And the staff were all very nice, I enjoyed my stay here :)

I think I would've liked it if they asked me beforehand if I needed towels or other necessities every day. I felt very bad cause I didn't need the towel and pyjamas and all that every day. So I would've preferred if I could've mentioned that somewhere. Still, it's a very nice and convenient service once you know it exists

Being next to the subway was great, and the accomodation had a lot of functionality and toiletries if we had forgotten them. I really like that about these hotels, they really are high quality and give you pajamas, toothbrushes, slippers, etc. Plus, the bidet was great, the lighting controls on the side of the bed was great, and the little tid bits of advice on how to behave in Japan was excellent from the TV screen.

The room was a little small, but it really wasnt an issue as we really just needed a place to sleep.

Loved the proximity to Ayase station and the fact there's so many shops around the hotel (conbini, restaurants, drugstore etc.) Also the coin washer and dryers were life-savers! Furthermore, their own little conbini is perfect if you only need a bottle of water or a snack without needing to go out.

The only thing is you could easily hear the neighbour's TV. One thing missing for the room to be exceptional are teaspoons. It's great to have the matcha powder and electric kettle but there's no spoon to mix the drink so I had to use the disposable teethbrush's "handle" to stir the tea.

The room was your standard APA business hotel room. Not that big, but has everything you need. Staff were particularly nice, however, and provided me with suggestions for restaurants to visit in the area.

No restaurant in the hotel, only a small 'convenience store'. There were many nice restaurants in the area though, and there was a 7-Eleven mere metres away. There were also two construction sites around the hotel, but there was no discomfort at night.

Incredible staff, bathroom accessories at will, free umbrella for rent, luggage delivery service from hotel, Metro (Ayase) station nearby, super clean rooms, laundromat. We were feeling hot, but since the AC was centralized, they brought an air cooler for us at midnight. Super helpful and humble staff!

Not dislikes, but areas of improvement: No breakfast, AC cooling or heating option is centralized. This has to be local.

I did not have breakfast, but I thought the hotel's location and price were so amazing, especially in Tokyo. The hotel is near the Ayase Train Station which easily connects to Shibuya! It was so easy to get around Tokyo thanks to the hotel's proximity. I highly recommend this hotel if anyone is staying in Tokyo.

I feel the bathroom is quite small but everything was provided and I had no problem with using it. It is hardly a dislike and is actually very useable.

Great location, many big stores and restaurants minutes walk. Chiyoda line 2 minutes walk. Very few western tourists (which i am) here, so really nice to avoid them and enjoy being around locals. Ayase park is a short stroll and quite lovely.

The 2nd pillow was a bit odd to this westerner, but meh. Room kept shaking, but it was a huge earthquake on 1 Jan 2024, so thats fine.

The staff here were so helpful and friendly, I wanted to modify my booking to leave a day earlier and just asked to change it not expecting a refund or anything however they went above and beyond to contact my booking provider to get me a refund. The location is close to the train station so easy to get around, takes slightly longer to reach some places due to the location but still able to go most of the main areas easily.
