Comfort Hotel Koriyama

hotel is close to JR station, it's like 5 mins walk from JR station, but make sure it's EAST exit. Not Central or West exit. I made this mistake at first,, Luckily I saw the previous comment and thanks for the tips. RENT-A-CAR company is just beside hotel and it's so convenient. hotel offered free parking. The room is comfortable, I can't say it's spacious but it's size is normal, I mean most hotel room in Japan are more or less the same size, with the price I paid, I guess. I like guests are gathering at 1/F cafe to chat, having a cup of free coffee or eat. it's kind of "common room" and I like that feeling. Front House people are helpful and friendly. The room is clean and the house keeping is good, clean and tidy everyday. Free Breakfast is good idea though choices are very limited, but I am fine with it considering is a complimentary breakfast.

Choice of amenity is limited.

This was my second stay in a Comfort Hotel hotel and they are pretty much cookie cutter to all the others from the rooms right down to the breakfast offerings. It's good for what it is but it's less cozy and more chain vibes which is fine for a one night's stay.

They gave me a list to check for allergens. I'm vegan which does complicate things but by the time I came down for breakfast, all of the vegan options were gone. I feel like they should have more available especially allergy related options.

Great value for money. Very relaxing library cafe with some English language books available for browsing, as well as free tea and water. Spacious for its price. Very attentive staff who are friendly and eager to help.

Air conditioning is controlled centrally, which was inconvenient for anyone who likes to control the temperature themselves. However, the staff were happy to provide a fan and helped to opened the window.

The room was small, but clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet in the morning was outstanding, especially for the price of the stay. A lot of good selections, great waffles, great ginger chicken, and best of all you can get a bento tray to bring it up to your room if you don't want to eat downstairs. Had it both ways myself, eating in the hall and having a second breakfast upstairs. Staff was super friendly. Best of all the hotel had parking on site and was a five minute walk from the station and the center of Koriyama.

The bathroom was..cramped. And besides toothbrushes we weren't provided any additional amenities like razors or sanitary supplies.

I liked the location and behaviour of the staffs of the hotels, specially Mis Nagaya who helped me a lot to book a self drive rental car. Staffs are really helpful.

Rooms are a bit smaller.

Best hotel I’ve stayed so far in Koriyama. The hotel staffs were nice. The breakfast is also good.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Well spoken English. Walking distance (approx 5 mins) from train station. Good selection is available for breakfast. Spacious, quiet and clean rooms.
