Richmond Hotel Premier Musashikosugi

I do not normally make reviews but our stay experience was exceptional hence i feel giving them a review is the least I can do It has been our 3rd time to travel to Japan but first time here in Richmond. The staff was amazing the room has enough for what you need for traveling though it doesnt have the bells and whistles that 5 Star hotels offer I feel that this hotel was more than what we need for what we paid for. The stay was amazing and moving around Tokyo and coming back to the hotel was a breeze either by train or car. What made it special was when my daughter had a medical emergency it was late in the evening and all the staff was so helpful. Shout out to the amazing ERP team and the desk on duty my daughter was in good hands. Aside from this good food and 711 was all 5min walk. This hotel is definitely our home in Tokyo

Staff was very good front desk could easily talk in English. Room was always tidy every day. Extra items were provided on request. Baby crib was perfect.

The room was very clean, I have a dust allergies so I am extremely sensitive to dusty carpets. I did not get any allergic reactions after staying 4 nights. The location was also perfect. It was a 5 minute walk from a train/subway station, and from there, we were 20-30 minutes away from downtown Tokyo. There were several large shopping malls around the hotel, and a lot of restaurants and cafes. The insulation was good, even without turning on the AC it was still warm in the room. We stayed here in March, so it can still get cold outside. We could also see Mt. Fuji from the building.

Our room was facing the JR station tracks, in the opposite direction as Mt. Fuji, so we had terrible views from our room. The pillows were too soft for me.

The location is close to the train station, grocery stores, and a shopping center. The bed is comfortable and there is a relatively large desk, compared to most business hotels, for working or just putting your stuff. Check-in time is 14:00 and the check-out time is 11:00, which is better than most hotels with a similar price.

The ventilation of the bathroom needs to be improved. There was an odor when I first entered it. It could take a bit longer to wait for the elevators since the lobby is not at the ground floor. The interior of the hotel is slightly old but in general clean. It's a bit inconvenient and confusing to choose the cleaning service in advance from TV.

Well cared for and managed accommodation with very friendly staff, spotless rooms and excellent breakfast. Washing machines and driers available on the 12th floor. The hotel is very conveniently located next to a shopping mall, across a convenient store and approx. 200 m from Musashi-Kosugi metro and almost adjacent to the corresponding JR station. Lively area with many shops and restaurants. For runners, nearby Tama(gawa) River is a good spot for a morning or evening run.

Due to the location in a lively area with considerable traffic, sleeping with the windows open may be a bit too loud.

Excellent location, right next to the narita express stop and walking distance to the local train stop. Several good cafes and restaurants in the vicinity and two shopping centres. Staff were attentive and friendly Delicious breakfast buffet Will definitely stay again

Surprisingly, WiFi coverage is limited to the room, it would be a simple fix to extend this to the corridors and lobby areas, noting that the grand tree shopping centre opposite the hotel has free wifi in the entire compound. So if you were just outside the hotel, you'd cross the road to the shopping centre than head back to the room.

I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be conveniently located near popular shopping areas, cafes, and train stations. The staff were friendly and professional throughout my stay. The room was spacious, clean, and had comfortable bedding. The amenities included complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities and toiletries. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the city.

The wifi in the rooms is really bad. If you are not a smoker, avoid the smoking rooms as the smell is quite pungent.

Have stayed here several times and that speaks for itself. Location is great for me but perhaps not for everyone. Rooms are well laid out, reasonable size and very clean. Bed and bedding very comfortable. Convenience store, supermarket, restos, mall and station with good connections to both Tokyo (Shibuya) and Yokohama within easy walking distance. If you have reason to stay in this area and are looking for something a step up from a business hotel but not for 5* luxury, you can’t go wrong with the Richmond.

All good and as expected. No grumbles.

I spent 5 nights at the hotel with a friend in the first week of April and we had a very pleasant stay. The main Tokyo stations are easily accessible by train, and there are shops and restaurants nearby just a few minutes from the hotel, if you want to buy some gifts or go out for dinner. We booked a standard twin room, which was larger than the average hotel rooms in Tokyo, so we had a lot of space to stretch out. The beds are wide and comfortable so we could have a good night's sleep, just like at home. The breakfast was fabulous with a lot of healthy options to choose from. The staff at the reception is so nice, welcoming and helpful. I would go back anytime and recommend the hotel to my friends and acquaintances.

Breakfast was very good, which was part of why I booked. Lots of options from pastry to rice and miso soup to spring rolls. The bed was a Queen and the room was larger than all of my other hotels. Pricey for one night due to breakfast but the value is there for the room and breakfast. Excellent location within a 5 minute walk from the train station.

Entrance was a but confusing. The check in desk is on the 5th floor, the first floor is just an elevator that you take up to the desk. At first I thought I had to go around the building. There is a sign, I was just not expecting it so I missed it the first time.
