Convenient location

The central heating was really hot. The first night we were there, it was 28 degree in Japan winter. The individual heat pump was locked and not allow to be used. When we complained about the heat as we couldn’t sleep, staff told us the heat pump can not be used except just using it as a fan. We had a sleepless night. Then the next day, my friends who stayed in another room told us he had the same problem except a more experienced staff advised him that he can open the window and brought him a fan to cool down. This is the only issue that I had.

The room was very clean, the bathroom was spacious, the bed wide and comfy, and the room was a corner room with two windows which provided a lot of natural light and views of the city.

The room was great aside from three small things: 1.) There was no complimentary coffee in the room (only tea) and there were no wash cloths or any kind of disposable equivalent for bathing. 2.) The cover on the ceiling vent was a bit dusty but not nearly as bad as the one in our previous room when we last stayed here. 3.) The water got scalding hot very quickly if you raised the heat at all above the midline, which of course could be dangerous, but we were fine, thankfully. Otherwise, we were satisfied and pleased with our experience and we would stay here again.

clean, lots of amenities such as face creams, cleansers and toners. it’s close to Kannai station about a 5/10 minute walk and I could be in the centre of Tokyo in an hour on the train. lots of shops and restaurants nearby, right by a shopping mall too. also there was a free taxi from the airport to this hotel which was a lifesaver after a 17 hour flight.

the rooms were slightly small especially for 2 of us- when we saw other rooms they seemed slightly bigger so I was a little disappointed with our room. it was a little far out of Tokyo than I would have liked.

Very good location, ideal for shopping along the nearby street. I used the coin operated washing machine and tumble dryer, to wash and dry my clothes, so that was handy. It was only in Japanese but I used a Japanese to English translation to work out what it said, so managed to use it. The washing machines are very popular but I managed to get one. A little tip, maybe set a timer/alarm on your phone to empty the machine promptly once it has finished, so the next person can use it. The washing machine is pin protected so if you forget no one else will be able to use the machine. Only 1 pillow each in the room but I went to reception and they gave us two more. Nice amenities in reception. My wife got a face pack/mask. We would stay there again. Ideal for walking to the cruise port, if you are feeling energetic. It was a bit of a walk with bags, but we allowed plenty of time to get there so was a nice stroll.

The room was a bit small, but that is to be expected for Japan, so I didn't mind.

I really liked the bathrooms. It was spacious and were very clean. The shower had perfect water pressure with hygiene products included. The bed was very comfortable and provided me with the good rest I needed to get on with my day. A big plus is that the hotel is only a few blocks away from the train station.

The room itself was tight for two people. It felt cramped and tiny in there yet understandable given it's Tokyo, one of the most densest cities in the world.

The location is pretty good if you want to visit the harbor front and Chinatown. It is right outside of the Kannai subway station (Blue line) so going to Yokohama station (where Pokemon Center is). The room is pretty good for the price and the hotel itself is in a generally good shape. The Italian restaurant in the hotel serves pretty good pasta. Staff is also very helpful while their English level is passable. They also took my bag directly to my room when I showed up early and store it for a few hours after I checked out.

There are some stains on the wall by the window and washroom light switch. Seems like a common problem with hotel these days. The buffet breakfast is passable (limited selection) but the restaurant is just too small and it can get very jammed packed in the morning. There was only one server and once chef on duty in the morning and they were doing their best to run the restaurant. Also you have to ask for fork and knife if you can't use chopsticks, a bit odd. At least the coffee is acceptable. Finally, it's a bit far from Shin-Yokohama if you are coming by bullet train. Taxi cost (as of Dec 2022) was about 3500 Yen. From Yokohama (Narita airport express) was about 1500 Yen.

Good air conditioning in summer! Very cool and pleasant, when other places keep warm air temperature, at the hotel was amazingly cool! Relatively new hotel, clean and comfortable. For that are in Yokohama, the price was good. Highly recommend!

Everything was good! The breakfast could have been more varied and better quality, but for this money in Yokohama it might be acceptable.

Hotel in a convenient place close to the railway, with an excellent (Italian) restaurant downstairs. Our room had enough space and was spotless! The staff were quick to help us by finding a fan for us.

The room was a bit warm at night and we couldn't turn the temperature down. (That's why we needed the fan mentioned above)

very conveniente location to JR and subway stations. very friendly staff, clean, well maintained hotel. room amenities were ok.

the swamp cooler took a lot of precious space and did not work very well. I ended up unplugging it and using the room AC. room space was ok for a single person, but would have been tight for a couple.

Beedroom is spacious (more than the average size in Tokyo/Yokohama) and the beds are also quite large (I slept with my 6 years old kid without any problem). Breakfast (that in my case was included in the price of the room) was great with a good buffet selection but especially the main course (that was available as fish or meat, we chose meat) was excellent.

Parking in the hotel is limited to 1.55 meters hight (that is very low) but staff was available to provide several options in the surrounding at honest price. A bit disappointed that Maystays advertise its hotels with superb onsen but sadly this is not available in Yokohama (not that was false advertised still, it's a pity that you can not experience that)
