Comfort Hotel Akita

Staff were very lovely and obliging. It was cold outside and snowing. They had central heating in all rooms. I requested for an electric fan and they placed them in our rooms to ensure our stay was comfortable. I had a room to myself and they placed 2 pillows there to ensure that I enjoyed my sleep. The view from my room to the other side of the city was awesome. They let me have a high floor as I have requested. The breakfast was fantastic. My fave, fresh Apple Cinnamon juice. They offer guests unlimited free coffee/tea and refreshing lemon-infused water. What's coolest is that the breakfast dining area is cleaned spotless for guests to use it as a Library Cafe from 10am onwards. The view overlooks the street below. Look out for their breakfast dessert of Apples. They are sweet and awesome.

The staff was very accomadatable. They helped us with what we needed. They were kind and worked hard to communicate with the language barrier.

The bed so hard. And the pillows were all but flat bricks. We were able to get some fluffier pillows and the other two nights were better. The breakfast was okay.

Breakfast was excellent and well-furnished. We enjoyed it. The bed was small for two but comfortable. The staff was very kind. The location is very near the station.

The room was nice but too small... I know it's Japan, but it is Akita, not Tokyo or Osaka. Also, the rooms were noisy because of people who spoke in the corridor.

The hotel was perfect in everything! We stayed there for 5 nights for our Golden Week vacation. The room was clean. Our stay included free breakfast and it was good. All of the precautions against infection were taken. The hotel is in 3-min walk from the station, has lots of amazing restaurants and conbinis around.

Sometimes there were problems with the magnet card keys, we couldn’t open the door, but the staff were always there to quickly help with the card. It may be our problem, but we couldn’t figure out exactly how to change the air conditioning in the room from heating to cooling.

It is a very comfortable hotel. Very good breakfast and kind staff. The rooms are not very large as is common in Japan, however they are clean and comfortable.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel is conveniently located nearby to Akita station and Senshu park.

We only stayed one night, arriving late and leaving early, so there's not much to say one way or another.

Easy checkin compared to other hotels in Japan we went to. Breakfast was wholesome. Very central, 5 minutes from the eki, great access to eateries.

The hotel was close to the train station. Lots of shops and restaurants close by. Could walk to everything.

Good last minute booking. Nice bathroom and stocked with microwave, fridge, and kettle.

Very small room, cramped. Nothing around the hotel, though it is very quiet which was good

Simple, super clean, provided everything I needed. I liked very much. I just wanted to shower and sleep after 13-hour motorcycle touring.

The price could be better for the hotel category.
