Take a seat at one of the castle's terraces or climb on top of the caste tower. Take a glass of wine or a belgian beer and enjoy the amazing view from the castle. You may also catch a light breeze of wind during hot days from there. The dining room of the castle breathes the medieval style. Strategic position to places like Assisi. The castle itself is quite isolated but a car brings you everywere. Dont mind the bumpy road through the woods to get to the castle.

Sanitaire is kind of medieval style as well and needs refurbishment. Rooms on first en second floor can get warm because of no airco.

What an Experience! We couldn’t fault anything with the Castle, from check in to checkout. The apartment was spacious, clean and everything we needed ( watching the sunset from our balcony was pretty special) The Grounds were spectacular. The dinner in the Castle was one of the best meals we have had, breakfast was a great selection of pastries, savoury and sweet selections. We were able to walk up to the tower at any time which was a great surprise in itself and beautiful views. Marco was an amazing host. It was a pleasure to meet him.

We stayed only for one night but everything was great. The staff were great. Marco made sure that my husband and I were well looked after. The room was clean, some of the furnitures were almost falling apart but it kind of add to the medieval feel. Having known that Italians have their breakfast with sweet breads and pastries, I’m so happy that their breakfast buffet include savoury options as well which I prefer. We also got to go up to one of the towers and enjoyed the view.

Charming place, full of character and history, beautiful views, very gentle host, fantastic fresh and tasty breakfast, peaceful place, very wellcome with pets , very good value for the money

Everything was very nice, even was not perfect ... Small details like poor lithing in the bathroom ...but afterall, we enjoyed our stay, and we would definitely come again

It was a dream come true to sleep in such an amazing castle! And what a bargain. The rooms are tastefully decorated.. new and fresh, but still has the medieval feel. Castello di Giomici was one of my very favorite destinations ever! I loved the view and climbing up the tower and the food... MAGICAL and we will come back in the fall for sure!

Everything was perfect!

A beautiful historical property set in the hills of Umbria. The property is nicely updated, while maintaining its historical charm.

Our room didn’t have A/C so it was a bit warm at night, but not unbearable (even in August). Rooms are a bit small, but that’s to be expected in an older property.

Lots of space, a beautiful view from the bathroom window. Very clean, a large comfortable bed and good quality bed linen. Oil and Vinegar, salt and peper and coffee provided. Good value for money. Wehad a very nice dinner at the castle

The cutlery and pans need replacing as neither are fit for purpose. Need a couple more wine glasses.

Great breakfast, wonderful dinner. Marci was a fantastic host. Ability to have us tour the castle and go up the tower was a bonus! Grounds and views are something so special.

Hot water for the shower would have been great. But maybe this was just temporary.

Visited with my dad and neice and our stay at Giomici was exceptional. Such a great location, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were all super helpful and nice (especially Marco). 11/10, will definitely stay again.

Our apartment was very nice and in a quiet & relaxed location with a great pool. We enjoyed both breakfast and the dinner. Staff was very friendly and helpfull.
