Hotel Buonconsiglio

Everyone we've met from the hotel staff was helpful and friendly. They made us feel welcome, always very patient with our questions, and would always greet us with a smile. The location was perfect -- you could walk to all the most Trento attractions and good restaurants from there. The room was large and the wifi was fast enough.

The parking was a bit of a hassle. The hotel has a partnership with a public parking garage for which you pay 10 EUR per day. For each time you park in the garage, you have to go back to the hotel (about a 5-minute walk) to get an exit ticket so you can exit next time you need your car. Would have been great if they could just issue a multi-use exit card for the duration of your stay. Also, there are no reserved spots for the hotel so it may well be that even in that garage, you won't find a spot. Regarding the room itself, it was mostly good. Some minor points for improvement: the AC may need a refresh (the quality of the air was not the best). Lastly, I appreciate the hotel being pet-friendly :) but our room needed some pet odour neutraliser.

The Wifi in room 303 was very inconsistent and weak. I had to rely on my own data. That was mildly annoying. The receptionists were very different how welcome they made me feel. I further got controlled as the only person when I got breakfast, also being the only person not dressed like a business man. I recommend the receptionist briefing the catering staff on who payed for breakfast or control every guest every morning. I felt singled out and did not enjoy starting my day this way.

I stayed only for one night but I was utterly happy with this accomodation. The rooms was clean and modern. The staff was professional, speaking English. The location is just a few steps from the railway station and the city centre, there is a store around the corner. The window shaders were so good that I could not notice the daylight in the morning, also perfectly silent - great sleep! The breakfast was good and appropriate to the price. Nice stay, thanks!

Room and bathroom were large and comfortable. Lovely continental breakfast including some yummy cakes! Good location.

Would be useful to have the detailed parking information and directions available before (there is a separate parking agreement with a multistorey car park around the corner but if you go past the hotel you go around the one way again) Would be good to have some UHT milk available in the room for tea and coffee. You can probably see most of Trento in a Whistlestop day if you are planning a visit!

Beautiful hotel in the wonderful surroundings of Trento with views of the mountains surrounding the area. Staff very polite, helpful and very pleasant. I would recommend this hotel to anyone as it is near the town centre but is in walking distance near to the station.

The Wi-Fi is problematic - whether that has something to do with he mountain region, it could be the case as I visited Merano with similar issues.

Loved our suite. Great location from which to explore Trento. Walking distance to everything and easy to get to. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would happily return to this hotel.

Not much, but breakfast was ok with being great. Having some fresh fruit on hand for example would be welcome.

My room was spacious with an entry way and a very large bathroom. The shower was wonderful. I appreciated having the tea/coffee in the room to have a cup before breakfast. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection (for me the croissant and fruit is all I need) for people that want to have cereal, yogurt, cheeses etc. The location was super convenient to the train station and the Castel and to all of the sites that I visited.

Amazing and friendly staff. Always willing to assist. Loved the location, near to the station and central. I could walk everywhere. Rooms were spacious and neat. Would definitely recommend.

Big room and big bathroom. Close to town centre. Spotlessly clean throughout. A safe and a fridge in the room. Comfortable room with two armchairs.

WiFi was a bit erratic. Shower pressure was low. Then, just when I was almost finished, the (excellent) pressure returned.

The hotel was close to the train station and the historic center. The staff quickly checked me in and gave me access to the Trentino guest card. The room had all the amenities typical in a 4 star hotel. I even had a nice view of the mountains from my window. Breakfast was delicious.

I heard a bit of street noise from late night revelers on Saturday evening.
