Residenza Santa Cecilia

I travel a fair amount and this was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. We had a ground-floor room opening right out onto the terrace and it felt like we had an entire apartment with the huge indoor/outdoor space. I had to book this last minute when my son was sick and couldn't travel, and the staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating. It was a pleasant bonus that the room was stocked with items available for purchase, many if not all sourced locally/from the owners' own farm. The property is a stone's throw from gorgeous beaches and at the end of the main street of the town with all the restaurants and shops right there. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great location. Nice and kind staff. Good breakfast with available potable water all day long. Nice terrace with beautiful flowers for relaxing.

Breakfast was good but not enough and no refill for the empty trays was done. E.g. the eggs trays were almost always empty and when we asked for supplementing them we were communicated…it is not possible since they are finished. Rooms not acoustically insulated was leading to a lot of noise at least for the Ground Floor rooms from the pool room especially during the night. More acoustical finishes to be used to reduce the effect: carpets, fabrics on walls etc. Also timeframe and rules for using the inner pool are advisable.

Train noise was not at all an issue with closed windows but it was still a bit noisy (neighbors and cars) - with ear plugs should be okay! Bed was not comfortable and not stable if your partner turns Air conditioning was old, very noisy and slow to cool Mosquito nets in bedroom would be good to add

We really enjoyed our stay in apartment 102. It was clean and spacious with a sitting room/kitchen, bedroom and separate bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and they put a topper on for me which was kind. It had a wonderful view of the harbour with the boats moored. The staff are lovely and always in the background if you need anything. The pool and jacuzzi are a added bonus. We came by train from Rome, really straight forward, the station is a 8 minute walk from the apartment. We actually went to Pisa from here which is an hour north and then across to Florence to see the cathedral and the Statue of David by Michael Angelo, all done in a day. Fantastic location, you don't need a car, loads of buses too. Breakfast is lovely served outside in the gazebo in the garden. We went at low season and it would be very busy in the summer, plenty of restaurants and bars etc. Only a few restaurants open at this time of year but it gets busier as the weather imrpoves.

Nothing really apart from english channels on the tv, however, we just put sub titles on the prime films.

Fantastic size room with all amenities, great location and exceptionally helpful staff (Valentina and Marco were superb) and the staff were generous with extra things like washing powder and dishwasher tabs - small things but it made our stay enjoyable.

More filtered water should be provided in the rooms as you can’t drink tap water. That should be given to guests every day (regardless of whether they have the hotel service)

Pool open 24 hours. Very clean and safe. Parking on site. Owners very present and available yet not intrusive. Apartment door card opens all doors and gates.

Was a little worried about the large derelict building opposite the front of the property on arrival but all was beautiful on the beach side of the property. The property is close to a busy street of shops and restaurants.

It was the second time we spent our Crhistmas at Residenza Santa Cecilia, my eldest son like so much this structure, the location is perfect, it's a walk away to the center and sea. They have jacuzzi perfect for relaxation and internall pool which is perfect for kids. They have private parking space. Their breakfast buffet is good, they offer fresh fruits and they have coffee bar. The reception staffs are very approachable.

Usually don't leave reviews, but I make an exception. This place combines best of both worlds, hotel and apartment. As a family we stayed in an apartment, but we had all the luxury of a hotel, still having a fully equipped kitchen in the apartment with a really large living and balcony. Pool is just perfect 30C water 130cm deep and opened 24/7. Staff spoke good English and breakfast was also okay.

The property was so clean and spacious. The view was amazing. The pool and hot tub are open 24/7, which was so convenient for our stay. Apartments are located within a 1-minute walk from the main street with the restaurants and shops. It was so easy to communicate with the receptionist Valentina, she made the check-in/out process so smooth.

customer service is amazing, all people are super nice. really good breakfast.super close to local bars/restaurants, beach. swimming pools is nice and open all the time. would recommend this place Alior remote working with high speed internet.
