nice room and good views. the breakfast is excellent. staff really nice. the swimming pool and the facilities are beautiful. The location is really good to stay in the upper Taormina.

just one elevator for a big hotel. No parking in the hotel and the access by car is difficult. you have to park in a different parking lot, and it’s quite far away( apart from the 15€/day). they should offer at least a shuttle bus to the parking. the need to improve a little bit the bath. it’s very narrow.

great location and views, rooms were comfortable but showers are super tiny . the shower overflowed on Day1, but they cleaned it up quickly. Staff was very professional and worked hard to please.

No parking but nearby. Couldn’t take bags to hotel directly. Someone had to pick up and transport since no parking and difficult access. For exit, they could get bags to top of hill but we still had to transport through narrow streets for several blocks.

The view from our junior suite and double with balcony was excellent and would match any view from other hotels and restaurants in the area. The suite had a good sized private terrace and balcony and well worth the extra cost . The double had a shared balcony with just some shrubs seperating from next door and not as private. The room was a good size. The staff were helpful and pool area was well supervised. Breakfast was good . Very close to town which had a great buzz about it full of restaurants, shops bars and monuments etc.

The rooms are a bit dated but that did not affect our stay in any way. The pool bar was good but closed when pool closed and the hotel bar was not open during our stay.The access to the hotel is quite tricky and involved a fairly steep if short walk up steps to the town, which is lovely and has plenty to do in it. Initially, I felt the pool attendants were strict but they ran a very good ship and emptied unused sunbeds if left unattended for more than an hour and therefore they always found space for people as they arrived and set people up in a very polite manner. Some aspects of the hotel require better maintenance such as some loose boards around pool and some painting would be required.

All rooms have a view of ocean and pool. The property is built on a cliff, with the lobby 20 meters below the street, an impossibly steep driveway for folks with mobility issues. Not disclosed in the listing. The property is somewhat dated with minor cracks in the walls here and there, but it hasn’t fallen down the hill yet though the cliff face adjacent to the structure shows evidence of landslides.

The listing provides intentionally false or misleading or incomplete information. The breakfast buffet is very good, but the listing says breakfast is “provided” which in English and Italian means it is included, but it’s not; they should say breakfast is “available for an additional 15€ per person.” That would be an honest disclosure. The pool is also provided, but it is included with the room charge, no lying there. They say nothing about parking, the truth is revealed only in guest comments: they direct you to third party garages, 18€ per day.

Great location, friendly staff, view was stunning

The room was super hot. Understandable that at this time Sicily was abnormally warm. We asked twice to turn off the towel heaters as this is what was causing the room to be hot. The staff did turn them off but with that said, there is only one button at the front desk that turns on all the heaters for the floor so they had to appease other guests as well. Opening the windows is not an option, only the door. Issue with that is our balcony balcony was "shared" with another room so we didn't feel comfortable leaving it open at night.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, very quiet and tranquil while the buzzing centre of Taormina is a short walk away. Be prepared for a reasonably steep walk uphill from the hotel to the town, but it’s literally 100 yards and the view at the top is spectacular! On a clear day you can see Etna and the bays below. It’s only a couple of minutes walk and you get to the public gardens or up into the meandering streets where you’ll find all sorts of shops, eateries and watering stops. Taormina itself is beautiful and Castlemola is worth a visit. We stayed in 401, which is a junior suite - the furniture is slightly tired but it’s an immaculately clean, huge room and balcony and I really can’t fault it. Three of us shared (2 adults and a teenager) and there was ample room for us all to spread out and enjoy it. The pool is lovely and the whole area is really well looked after.

Amazing location, close to everywhere in Taormina historical centre Great view from the room, great breakfast selection and whilst the building is a bit old / concrete type of building (clear from pics when you book), it’s quite renovated inside and room has lot of space and all amenities Fresh water and fruit all day long at reception Staff generally nice and available Nice pool and surroundings , even providing towels

I enquired several times for the parking both on booking and via phone calls and they had not been very clear when calling them (they also didn’t respond on booking) so didn’t understand where I would have parked, where I should have gone and how much it would have cost me until I got there , having to leave the car in front of a steep tiny road (which is the hotel entrance) with the lights on It was very frustrating driving in Taormina back and forth to go to the parking they had recommended (ultimately it was good service and good price but would really suggest to clearly provide guests with guidance before arrival as I had tried to get answers both in writing and over the phone)

The location was perfect for us! Close to the ancient theatre, several fabulous restaurants and the cable cart to get to Isola Bella to name a few. We met a few different pool attendants which we have not had on a holiday before which was a lovely touch, they were wonderful. The view was stunning from our room. Reception staff very helpful, assisted booking us a taxi to the airport home.

We paid extra for breakfast one morning, €20 each. It was a buffet and unfortunately not worth it for us, which is why we only had it once! Expected more for a 4 star hotel. The swimming pool made a strange noise through out the stay which made it difficult to completely relax poolside.

Mid-century modern with some interesting original features. Definite early 70s feel, but quality 70’s. Bathroom with huge mirror and vanity unit. Step in the bath to have a shower, bit of a novelty but constant hot water and good shower pressure. Good sized, clean pool for a proper swim. Delicious, plentiful, well organised breakfast buffet, decent coffee (albeit machine). Don’t miss the Granita bar… :) Lovely staff, polite, professional - the catering manager and his staff were exceptional. Comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, decent air conditioning. Quiet ambience, nice people go there, we loved our stay there. :)

The balcony is separated from next door’s by pots of shrubbery. Still fairly private but not you will be aware of your neighbours if they’re out on their balcony. Some areas (out of general view) were showing their age.

The view was great and the hotel was well situated. The staff were friendly.

The outside of the panoramic lift was broken and looked a bit dangerous. The breakfast was not good.
