The location was nice about 7 min walk to the island. Free parking was available in the street nearby for free or you could also park at the train station which was 5 min away. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious offering a kitchen.

The bathroom was malfunctioning, bidet was not flowing any water out and one of the shower handles was broken and the first time I opened it to wash my feet since the bidet was not functioning normally it got me all wet. The breakfast was a 5/10 just because you could only pick 1 pastry and only something to drink and that was not enough for breakfast.

Great location- very central. Super friendly and helpful staff. Responded very quickly when we had an issue with the TV. Very good sized apartment and good facilities. A really nice space. Check in / out was fairly quick and straightforward. No parking at the venue but quite easy to park (for free) nearby.

Wifi was not very good - hard to access and frequently dropped out - had to resort to using phone data much of the time. Noise from the apartment above was very loud at times especially during the night. Soundproofing could be improved. The shower drain became quite clogged up by the end of our stay

Apartmant was close to Ortigia, where we spent most time while in Sirakuza. Staff was really good, and made sure our stay in Astoria was really good. Whenever I needed them, they answered and reacted quickly. Since we were with car, it was important to have parking place, they don't have their own, but around apartment you can find it easily. Breakfast was included, and was in caffe bar nearby apartment, where we could choose one snack and one drink, and it was good.

Presonal preference, but mattress was soft one

Pepe was very accommodating and let us keep our bags in the entry alcove after we checked out. He also recommended an excellent restaurant nearby (Le 7 Spezia) and gave us advice on how and where to catch the bus to Taormina. Very nice apartment with a wonderful shower and bidet. Street is a little scary looking but we (2 ladies) were coming home late at night with no problem. Great location close to train station and buses. Short walk to Ortigia which is a gorgeous historical area.

Astoria apartments is a fine place to stay and close enough to Syracuse island. Close enough to walk everything. There is a small kitchen for those who want to cook. The place was quiet, hardly any street noise. We liked the breakfast being served in a nearby cafe. Felt so very Italian.

The restauration/rebuild of this apartment is a bit unprofessional. It still feels a bit dated. Car parking is free in the streets which can be a challenge.

Close to the train station, a beautiful walk to Ortigia. I loved going to the market and getting fresh ingredients to cook with in the well-equipped kitchen. Very comfortable and surrounded by great restaurants. Definitely try Donna Lina, the food is delicious and the service is very thoughtful.

Nothing I had the most relaxing week here.

The Apartment was large. It looked like it was a shop or warehouse that had been converted. Unfortunately the conversion was lacking in the finish and not finished off professionally. Having said that it was still good value for money. The location was fine and breakfast at the cafe was good.

We didn't like the bed. We are accustomed to firm beds but this was super hard. It was clean but not spotless. I thought we were booking an apartment in a hotel but the apartment was one street away.

The appartment had everything we needed. This made our cooking efforts easy. It was cool, spacious and comfortable particularly as it was rather hot outside!

The bathroom was poorly ventilated and felt damp most of the time. The breakfast option was simply a voucher for a drink and pastry at a local coffee shop.

only one thing difficult to find but on first attempt we were so close. another sign pointing down the road would have helped We thought we were at the beginning of a private road which was our mistake

Damage on the bathroom No 2nd key!!! We still.dont understand their policy to not give a 2nd key!!! So, if for example someone want to go out early and the rest family is sleeping ...you can go out with the keys and the rest ones will stay with no electricity at the flat!! Thus, no a/c, no lights...!!
