Hotel Vittoria

The hotel is very nice and the location is excellent. The room is comfortable.

The staff were not friendly at all. They don’t coordinate with each other and they don’t give any hand over. At our departure, the receptionist in charge came out shouting for the bill which we had already paid before b’fast. It was very unpleasant infront of the other guests. Also, Please change the plastic cups you have at the restaurant. Apart they are not in line with a 4 star hotel, you are harming the environment.

If you are visiting the shrine of Padre Pio, this hotel is in very close proximity (5-7 minute walk a bit uphill) to the shrine. The hotel is modern and and has a big parking lot that makes entering/exiting easy. There’s an outdoor elevator or stairs that reduces the uphill walk to the shrine. There are also several good restaurants to eat at, all within walking distance. I upgraded to a “Continental Room” after booking the single room. It was only €80 more and well worth the upgrade. They also have a restaurant onsite for breakfast and dinner.

When I was checking out, the woman at the desk seemed a bit irritated when I had a question about the upgrade cost. I was under the impression that I was just going to pay the difference at check out, but was asked to pay the entire higher amount. I don’t think it was explained well and they said something about not getting paid by Booking.com, etc. The communication struggle was probably due to the language barrier.

Fantastic location,convenient when going to Padre Pio Shrine, very close to the bus station, only thing is for people who has difficulty with inclines, the hotel is downhill which is fine if you’re coming from the shrine but can be difficult for some who has mobility issues. The food was great, good selection of breakfast and we also ate lunch and dinner which were all good, we only had a little issue with a bit of language barrier but generally staff are friendly and had great efforts to sort it out. The room we had has balcony with a nice view, spacious and clean.

Unfortunately, the bed mattress we had was not comfortable, feels like basic mattress not like the usual mattress for a hotel

The breakfast was good the room was good. If you intend visiting the shrine of padre Pio then the location is excellent.

Didn't like the fact that you have to pay to use the lift to get to the hotel (not the one inside the hotel) and you specifically need a 50 cent coin to operate the lift which I didn't have which meant that I had to walk down to the hotel to get a coin in order to operate the lift. It would be better to have the cost of the lift incorporated into the price of the hotel to make it easier on the guests who travel with luggage.

The hotel is perfectly located next to the Padre Pio church and close to many restaurants and main bus station. The main hospital and emergency room is across rhe street. The hotel staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, I experience a health emergency and they were able to help us right away with the hospital visit. The hotel restaurant had an excellent breakfast and their teammembers were very attentive and display great customer service skills. We will definitely recommend this hotel to all visiting San Giovanni Rotondo. We are already planning to return ain the future.

Location couldn't be better. Support prior date of our lodging was very good, all the questions were answered immediately, asked for where is best to visit, we visited them all with the commodity of booking taxi from same hotel, breakfast we had a large selection buffet and all food was fresh. Even for dinner, excellent food, moderate prices and waiters very polity and kind. I would choose your hotel for sure if in the near future I visit again San Giovanni Rotondo and will also recommend to my friends.

What I can suggest is a small kettle, tea bags and coffee in room. One may need during late evening since one enters hotel quite late after a day out whilst on holiday

This property is a gem! Everything about it was wonderful, especially the staff. This was our first visit to San Giovanni Rotondo, and we did not have much time to see all the amazing holy sites. Angela at the hotel helped us maximize our time, including arranging transportation to and from the Sanctuary of Saint Michael the Archangel high on a hill top about a half hour drive from town.

We liked it all-staff, location, room, food and hospitality.

It was located close to the Shrine of Padre Pio. The breakfast provided was good. The wait staff was good. They gave us a table out of the way because we had our dog with is.

We were told there would be an 11€ charge for our dog, but when we checked out we were charged 15€. The receptionist didn’t even acknowledge me when I told her.

It's super close to the Bus Terminal, the hotel have their own restaurant for Lunch or Dinner because there is only a few Restaurant in San Giovanni Rotondo. they have their own elevator from the road level going below to their Hotel for the cost of 50 cents per ride. they have a huge free parking lot for their Guests. the hotel is very clean and well maintained. very accomodating hotel staff.

The hotel was very close to the Shrine of Padre Pio. The lift outside the hotel was extremely helpful to some of us who has knee problems. It was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good.
