A lovely and recently renovated property in a nice and safe neighborhood. The rooms are modern, good-sized and very clean. Host Angela is warm and friendly and does everything she can to make you feel welcome and confortable. She's great! The breakfast was fresh, healthy and filling - setting us up for each day. We were happy to take Angela's suggestions about local beaches, ferries, and even a super fun local pizza festival. Salerno is a convenient spot to get to many interesting and historic sites in the region. We visited Paestum, Amalfi coast, Pompeii, etc. using local/regional trains and ferries. Naples is a 35 minute train ride away. The train station is about a 15 minute walk, mostly down a pedestrian-only street. Shopping is great in this town, and it's much more economical than other towns on the Amalfi coast.

July is a very busy time of year in this area. I recommend another season!

Not really sure where to start with this review, other than Holiday Guesthouse is fantastic. We visited for 3 nights in August, using Salerno as a base to visit the Amalfi coast and head south. Best decision that we made….. you’re away from the chaos of Naples but there is plenty still to do! The location is just a 5-10 minute walk from the central train station and is within the same walking distance to shops and bars. Slightly longer to the old town which is absolutely no issue at all. The room itself was great. Well furnished and modern, more than we ever expected. We were particularly fond of the breakfast. Angela (the owner) arrives between 07.30 and 08.00 to prepare a continental breakfast including pastries, fruit, yoghurt, meat cheese etc and happily offered freshly cooked eggs as well. This is where things got even better for us, as we had the opportunity to speak to Angela who is local, to give us some insider tips and advice. With just 4 rooms, it gives people the opportunity to get to know the owner and Salerno as well. Air con was a welcome addition in august, plenty of storage space and even Netflix as well. Not that we needed this, however it’s a great little touch if you need a rest in the room. Thank you so much Angela, you made the first part of our honeymoon an unforgettable one!! See you soon 😊

This place is amazing! Our room was very well equipped. Efficient A/C (and what is very important - it is fresh and clean, as often devices in other places are so dirty and stinking that we don't want to use it), smart TV with YouTube and Netflix, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Breakfast was varied and fresh. Location is very calm, however close to the main pedestrian area with restaurants etc. The biggest advantage of this place is host! Angela truly knows what it is to provide exceptional care and great service. We have never been treated with such professionalism. She is very communicative, warm and open to people. We felt like in home.

Angela was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with fresh cooked cakes. The crumblecake was amazing. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom facilities were excellent. It was cleaned and the bed made every day! New towels were also available daily if you needed them. Check-in was really easy with great communication throughout. We would definitely go back here.

I would highly recommend staying here. We managed to park in the road outside (paid via an app which was easy) but it was quite busy , so I suppose this could be a difficulty.

Angela was a lovely and helpful host. The breakfast was exceptional (You must try the fresh pastries with cream). Location was perfect. The coach from Naples airport stopped just 100mt from the accommodation. It was just a 10 min walk to the sea front and even less to shops, restaurants and train station. I would definitely stay here again if i made another trip here in the future. THANK YOU ANGELA you made us very welcome.

In my opinion it couldn't have been better so there was nothing I didn't like. The only thing I would suggest is if some coffee and milk could be added to the tea tray as not every body drinks tea.

Holiday Guesthouse was in a great location, situated only a short walk from Salerno Train Station. The main area and our room were modern, well decorated, and exceptionally clean. The breakfast was varied (there's something for everyone) and the coffee was to die for! Angela is a charismatic, caring and helpful host who guided us on how to book our various excursions around the amalfi coast. I'll absolutely be staying here when I come back and I'd fully recommend Holiday Guesthouse to anyone looking for a lovely bed and breakfast with easy access to the wonders of the Amalfi coast.

We can't think of a single thing we disliked.

Perfect location, very close to the old city center and seaside (Lungomare). Everything was easily reachable by foot. The B&B is newly renovated in a beautiful old building with high ceilings and antique charme. Everything was very clean and silent since the apartments have double windows. The host Angela is very lovely and enthusiastic about her B&B - She served us not only a rich and diverse continental breakfast and even took care of our specific wishes since I prefer a vegan diet, but was also very helpful with restaurant recommendations and tips for a perfect day in Salerno. It was very nice to meet her and have a little chat in the morning! Totally recommend this place!

the host is very frendly. Angela waited for us infront of the house at the time od the arrival. Also she preparad us breakfast, made us coffee every morning, suggested very good restaurants and help us with ferry/bus schedules and planning other activities. The breakfast was perfect - variety of sweets and fruit, yoghurt, cornflakes, granola, also salami, cheese and cooked eggs were available. the rooms are clean, bed is comfortable and the locatiok pf the apartment is amazing. The train station is nearby, as well as lots of good restaurants. Aparment is comfortable and clean. this is a perfect starting point to explore Amalfi Coast less crowded, less expensive. however the ferry/bus connections are perfect

there are not enough table in the kitchen for all of the guests, so if other guests arrive before you, you have to wait a little bit (we were not in a harry so it didn't realy bothered us if we had to wait for some minutes)

Property has everything needed. It's very clean and tidy, organized and furnished with much of attention to detail. Cleaned was daily. Breakfast was very delicious, offered with everything you can wish for, coffee, pasteries, fruits, musli, etc. Location is also very convenient to walk to train station, old town and sea front. Angela is everything you can wish from the host. Warm and welcoming, patient and available anytime to advise you about literally everything you can ask for. Warm recommendations for this nice place and great host!

Nothing not to like

The location was close to old town , the Seawalk promenade, good restaurants, the ferry port for exploring the Amalfi coast. The breakfast was excellent with variety of fruit, pastries, eggs made to order if desired. But most of all, Angela was the best/wonderful host I’ve encountered in all my travels! She was a wealth of information and a very warm person. Do not hesitate to book here - you will not regret it!
