We had amazing experience in Casa Masoli. The building is looked like medieval Palace and every room is beautiful, unique, with lots of character but comfortable, comfy with all modern appliances. We came for one night before a cruise but it could be a destination, just to enjoy the property and Ravenna. Breakfast was superb, better than on cruise ship. Pastries from local bakery were top notch. Special thank you to Anna who treated us like family, recommended places, drove us to pre-cruise tests, arrange 2 cars to port, etc. When in Ravenna we will only stay in this amazing place.

We stayed in the Teodora room which was like staying in a palace room. It was beautifully decorated and entirely luxurious. The fresco ceiling was lovely. The furnishing of the room was perfect. The bathroom was amazing and I could not find any faults with the room, the hosts or the stay. Breakfast was great and everything was to a high standard. The R&B website gives you the history of the property and it is quite humbling to stay in somewhere with so much history. Location was great and you were in the centre with many great places nearby. The indoor market is worth a visit and the Ravenna mosaics were outstanding and worth a visit. I will return to this accommodation when next in the area in Italy.

Nothing, it was perfect.

Our host Anna and Aurelia were particularly welcoming and helpful. I lost my mobile telephone either in reception or in the taxi. We are now in Split on Royal Caribbean- The Explorer of the Seas until next Sunday. Perhaps you could ask Casa Masoli if either the Taxi firm have returned it or it was on the couch in reception. I tried their telephone number in your info but it didn’t ring out. I called my mobile which did ring out but was not answered, Sunday from the ship. We will have access to WiFi again when we reach Athens in two days time. I will of of course pay for repatriating the phone should it turn up. Regards Peter Martin

Anna was welcoming and informative and takes pride in the decor, making people feel comfortable, answering questions, making suggestions and serving an expansive delicious breakfast. She is friendly and unassuming and warm. The other staff members were equally as helpful and pleasant. You can tell she has updated the bed and the bathroom so that they are gorgeous and new while maintaining that old Italian charm. All the guests were saying Casa Masoli and Anna are a 10 and there’s really no arguing with that assessment. The whole package was exceptional and it clearly comes from love.

Nothing, it was beyond perfect

The house is a lovely old villa very close to the town centre. Aurelia greeted us warmly and was very helpful, suggesting restaurants and places to visit. Our room was ready early and we got access to it straight away. It was beautiful, comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent. There was plenty of choice and it was all of a superior standard. Aurelia arranged for us to leave our luggage in the reception area after checkout, free of charge. Nothing was too much trouble. A very pleasant place to stay. We highly recommend it.

This is owned and run by 2 lovely ladies who go out of their way to make you feel SO welcome here! I couldn’t recommend this more. We stayed here for one night before boarding our cruise, however if flights had allowed then I would have stayed here longer. Breakfast was exceptional with so many options. I particularly loved the many different fresh fruits that had been prepared and nuts available too.

There’s not really much I could say negative about this place, if I was to say anything it would be the lack of plug sockets in the room but that is what comes with an old building.

Casa Masoli is a beautiful home. Decorated with antiques and special touches – the towels were tied with a ribbon, the tissue box had a lace cover. Our room was huge with a daybed, a sofa, a desk in addition to our bed. The bathroom had a double sink and a long counter. Signora Ana who runs the place is an elegant and refined lady. She gave us suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants. She served a very generous breakfast buffet that included made to order eggs. Casa Masoli is in walking distance to all the sights and the main piazza. We definitely recommend this beautiful B&B.

Casa Masoli is a magnificent 17th century building, and has been lovingly maintained to the highest standard. The staff are delightful and very helpful - we left our bags in the office on the last morning, which made a final walk round town much more fun. The breakfast is excellent and offers a very wide choice of delicious food options including plenty of fresh fruit, and Italian meats and cheeses. The room had a kettle, coffee machine (capsules) and various Twinings tea bags. The location is ideal - very near the covered market, and with a helpful "leaning tower" landmark at the end of the road to navigate home by! You couldn't find a nicer place for a few days in lovely compact Ravenna, or nicer people to look after you. The price is very reasonable indeed for the standard of accommodation and I cannot recommend this highly enough. Ravenna is an absolute sensation for anyone interested in art, and don't miss Classe for the basilica and excellent museum there and the incredible fish restaurant nearby.

You should be aware that not all wall plugs are alike in Italy! Our hostess was able to offer us an adapter to convert the 3 thicker pins in the wall plugs to the 3 thinner pins expected by our "universal European" adapter plug. Everything worked fine after that!

The breakfast was probably the best I ever tastet: Lots of fresh fruits, croissants, cakes, ham and cheese, and eggs made to order just the way you like it. The room was spacious and practical, with careful attendance to every detail, including the super clean and cozy bathroom, with towels and a nice selection of soaps. It was really a wonderful change to visit a place prepared by ladies even for ladies; these people really knows what at girl appreciates, from tissues and cotton sticks to a separate mirror for putting on makeup. The house is beautiful, and central, too, only a few minutes walk to all the mosaics and plenty of restaurants and bars. And the ladies who run the place are super friendly and helpful. My only regret is I could not stay longer!

This is an amazing place with grandeur and style. Our book-filled bedroom was vast and the bathroom with separate shower only slightly smaller. The hostess (Anna) and her staff could not have done more for their guests - from providing a fantastic selection at breakfast (including freshly cut up fruit, ham, cheese, pastries, bread, cereal, biscuits of all varieties, and eggs cooked to order) to nice touches like slippers and a Nespresso machine in the room. They were only too happy to give restaurant recommendations and make a reservation on our behalf. (We really enjoyed the food at Osteria Passatelli). We were also able to leave our luggage after checkout. Ravenna is a beautiful town and we were sorry to leave.
