Cà Del Moro Resort

Stunningly beautiful place in the rural town of Pontremoli. Lovely room with a private balcony with a view of the mountains. We went out of season so the pool was closed as it was too cold. Dinner was a set.menu of home made traditional Italian food that was delicious! We were very late getting there as there was a 2 hour traffic jam on the autostrada but the owner waited up for us and settled us in with a warm welcome! The breakfast was great with lots if choice even freshly squeezed orange juice!

No tea and coffee facilities in the room. No English channel on the TV.

The breakfast was sufficient and healthy. The location is fantastic. The pool was well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The air conditioning is not the best. I know our stay was during some of the hottest days of summer but the air conditioning was insufficient as the system used is the type where the cold is radiated through the walls instead of the traditional air conditioner via cold air. I do give great credit to the staff for recognizing the problem and providing us with a portable air conditioner. Related to the above, the terrace was unusable from late morning until the next morning because of the sun and the heat retained by the terrace tiles. A simple umbrella or awning system would help here and might even help reduce the problem above.

The in built cooling system for my room on the 2nd floor didn’t work the first night and there was no fan, the rest of the stay it wasn’t great either, very hot so just about managed to get through the night. Only the first floor has air conditioning. Also there is no food available apart from pre-booking for lunch and dinner

Location was rural and perfect. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice, fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurts, cakes, bread, eggs, ham, cheese, jam, butter, coffee, tea Friendly and approachable staff and very helpful. Room was excellent size and clean, fresh towels every day

Excellent location in a quiet and pretty spot in the hills. We had a lovely view from our room onto the countryside and the hotel grounds were extensive and well kept. The staff were helpful and kind and we really enjoyed the restaurant, which had an excellent selection of local dishes and a lovely atmosphere - we ate there twice. Breakfast was also very good with delicious croissants (best we've had in Italy) being the highlight. Pontremoli itself is an interesting old town, well worth a visit.

Unfortunately, there was a bit of noise from roadwork at the property one day but that was no doubt temporary.

Quiet location with wonderful views and nicely placed to discover the area. Very good buffet breakfast and a really good evening meal/buffet. Staff were very welcoming

It can a bit of a climb to get luggage from the car to the hotel.

Fantastic hotel . Very comfortable . Lovely breakfast . Stayed as a family of 8 . Hotel staff very helpful when one of the party required an ambulance .pool and gardens are great for relaxing after sightseeing . Have stayed here before and will do again when we next visit the area . Exceptional value .

Nothing

Nice resort with great swimming pool and more than enough comfy chairs. The breakfast was very extensive and for lunch and dinner, it was a very good option to stay at the resort as well or the corresponding restaurant next to it. The room was cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis. All in a all we had a very nice stay here.

The staff was really helpful but sometimes we had some communication difficulties in English

The furnishing of the room and especially the arrangement of the furniture should be revised. The bathroom needs improvement. No towels are provided at the pool where there is no bar service either.
