Hotel Pompei Be Green

Airy room. Comfy beds, very friendly receptionist. Generally very clean nice toiletries. It is in a side road with balconies looking over car park or flats 50 metres across the road HOWEVER do not despair the town centre with restaurants and shops is only 5 minutes walk!

Orange staining at bottom of shower curtain in room 1 was very unpleasant, 🤮 definitely needs replacing. A kettle in room but only 1 tea bag in a triple room no milk coffee etc and not available on request...strange! Continental Breakfast basic unless you want to gorge on pastries. scrambled eggs were the only warm option but cold and not replenished, niether was the bread.. Reviews a bit misleading re location, not really walking distance to Pompeii sacia train station. 25 euro taxi fare could have been put towards upgrade to a hotel nearer main entrance to ruins and the station.

At the recepcion everybody were very kind & helpful.

The room was excellent, but during the room desing the designer not considered some things. Some wall (behind the suitcase & shoe places) are painted with normal paint which could easly damaged during the normal usage & seems dirty. To use at this places a kind of a protection paint could save the wall & will look like a new one. Or choose another protection type like wood or etc. Because of these design failures the maintanence/status saving is almost impossible for the cleaning ladies.

Great safe parking spot; beautiful balcony / terace; friendly and helpfull receptionists who provided advice on our trips and tours and spoke good English, always smiling and greeting us. Comfortable bed and a fridge which came in handy.

The breakfast - the breakfast lady was not the nicest person; she did not refil the items that were eaten by other guests so 2 out of 3 days, we did not get any salami or cheese, the third day we only got 4 pieces between the two of us (other guests therefore received none). Many items also didnt seem to be fresh so there is a lot of room for improvement. The walls are in terrible need of fresh paint. In addition, the walls are paper thin. We had people with children in the room next to ours so we listened to children screaming in the evenings and mornings and couldnt get a good night sleep.

Location of the hotel is very good, a walk away from Pompei ruins as well as from the centre of the new town where all the restaurants and caffees and shops are, but in the side street, so not too noisy. It is a small hotel but still has an elevator and reception is open 24 hours.

Considering the "be green" moto in the hotel name, we did not expect or want luxury, but few details could make guests' stay more comfortable: wardrobe or shelves or at least few more coat-hangers would be usefull and a bit more variety and quantity of foods at breakfast

The hotel is clean and modern. Free secure parking. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. Our room had a cute balcony, although with a basic neighbourhood view but it was nice for the morning coffee:) The staff at the reception were very kind, polite and helpful. Breakfast would be great for someone with a sweet tooth, a lot if cakes, tarts, bakery and croissants. If you are after a more healthy breakfast then this is no the right place for you. The only thing that could be improved is a better hairdryer in the bathroom or at least to fix it to the wall so it doesn't keep falling.

very nice staff and very helpful. We had some car problems and they help us to find someone on a Sunday. Hotel had free parking and close to Pompei. We took the public bus to Mount Vesuvius, tourist information close by. Free coffee was nice..

Mattresses were very hard but the staff changed it out quickly. There was some noisy neighbors but at night they quieted down. Offer a better variety of breads and breakfast meats & cheese would be nice. You can't take breakfast to your room. Bathroom wall had some mold spots by the window.

The staff were really helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was basic but adequate & meet our expectations. The responsiveness of the staff via email prior to us arriving was swift. Location of the hotel was about 10 mins stroll to the Pompeii ruins & the town centre. Use the train to get from from the airport & it’s a short & easy walk to the hotel or you can take a short taxi ride there from the Pompeii station but don’t use taxi from the airport -you have been warned !

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was clean, light and airy and the staff were wonderful. They even ordered dinner from a local restaurant and brought it up to our room because we were tired from a day of tours. The beds were comfortable, the facility clean and I would recommend a stay for anyone wanting easy access to the ruins and great shopping.

We had an awesome stay! Breakfast was spectacular! They had so many options including eggs and meats which are generally not found since its not "Italian style" breakfast. We loved the location as we no longer needed the car once we arrived. The parking was easy and secure in the hotel's parking area. We walked everywhere and really enjoyed our stay. Bed was very comfortable and everything in the bathroom worked well. There are lots of great food options nearby. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Pompei.

It was a bit noisy, however it didn't personally bother us. I also noticed we didn't have body wash only shampoo and a soap bar. If I could recommend anything, it would be to provide a body wash as well and perhaps an additional 2 pillows since we only had 1 each.

Breakfast was good, great selection of pastries, yoghurts and fresh fruit etc. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the hotel itself was very well presented.

Didn’t expect that “tea and coffee “ facilities in the room meant that you had to bring your own and a polite request for some milk from the breakfast room in the morning was declined, may have been a language barrier, but it didn’t feel like it and we went out and bought a pint , so no big drama.
