The hotel is amazing for many reasons; it is located within reasonable driving distance to all the great towns of the Amalfi coast, including Positano, it has a FANTASTIC-LOOKING pool, where we shot some very professional photos during our stay, because the light is brilliant! You need your own car because it is quite away from big cities, but this is part of its charm. There are plenty of restaurants around (by car) and the highway is only a few min drive. We are planning to return next year. Thank you to all the staff for looking after us and to Fabio for being so attentive. 5 STARS!! PS: if you ever think of doing a "garden party" in this area; THIS IS THE PLACE FOR IT!!! (check my pictures) C.C

NOTHING!!!! everything was great!

I stayed in many great hotels but this one exceeded my expectations. The hotel and the facilities are perfect for a relaxing break. The design is unique with a personal touch and I particularly loved the beautiful garden. The jacuzzi in the room was the reason I booked but I also enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool. The receptionist Esther and Aly were amazing! They were always extremely accommodating… not only they were polite but they were genuinely kind and helpful, and made our stay so fabulous. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking to spend some relaxing time.

The area around is not the best but that’s not an inconvenience if you just want to have a nice relaxing break.

Amazing stay, absolutely exceeded all expectations. The pictures we viewed beforehand didn’t do the property justice! The rooms are huge, clean, beautifully decorated. Every room had its own special touch. Stayed for a honeymoon and would return next year and have would say 12 out of 10

Typical Italian breakfast, nothing spectacular, but the breakfast culture is a bit different. Coffee was available and croissants etc.

Breakfast was okey, very sweet. Great rooms, very quiet.

No one really knew too much english. Kudos too the nightshift that knew french and arabic, but maybe IT would be great with someone who knew the basics. Also....the rooms Are great, but very..interesting 😅

-the pool area was beautiful with a really nice view - quiet in the evening - the two men who worked at the bar round the pool were great, really friendly and one of them in particular made a really effort to speak English to us and have a chat which we really appreciated

- some of the other staff seemed to have a bad attitude which didn’t make us feel particularly comfortable especially since we were in the middle of nowhere - there’s nothing around the hotel so unless you have a car you will struggle to get to the hotel and go out to eat - when we arrived our room smelt of cigarettes - despite being told our room would be cleaned on one of the days nobody came to do so - we were not told on our arrival that we had to book the sun loungers round the pool so spend a day sitting outside our room on chair’s because we hadn’t been told this information - at the end of our stay we were charged €26 euros for what the receptionist said was lunch which we were confused about. The receptionist didn’t speak English so we were told the manger would call us so we could query this charge but that never happened

The air conditioning in the room was not cold and the outside lights were on all night and early morning keeping us awake. The room was too bright and had only one dirty towel on arrival. The shower was not working properly and breakfast was not the American one as expected. A croissant and one yogurt for 2 was ridiculous. The location is poor as there are no taxis or buses in the area and there aren’t any shops nearby.

Do not stay here, Please put your money somewhere els.... The 2 reception girls and 2 pool boys were nice and friendly.

I didn't want to write this review and I offered the hotel an opportunity to resolve this. I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration regarding my recent stay at the "Secret Garden". My holiday experience in Italy, which I had eagerly anticipated, was utterly ruined by the subpar conditions and service at this establishment. I have diligently documented my experience with photographs and videos to illustrate the extent of my concerns. Water Shortage: For the entire third and fourth days of my stay, my room and other guests' rooms were without water. This not only inconvenienced us greatly but also compromised our ability to maintain basic hygiene standards during our stay. A room ways offer to be used....In a different building....across the courtyard.... but we still had to use a bucket in our room to wash our hands and face and brunch our teeth. Hygiene Concerns: I was shocked to witness vomit on the poolside (Pic attached) and unattended sun loungers that remained in this state for a distressing two days. This blatant lack of cleanliness and maintenance is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that prides itself on guest comfort. Staff Absence: On one alarming occasion, there was no hotel staff on-site for a staggering three hours. This not only left guests feeling abandoned and unsafe but also raised significant concerns about our overall well-being and safety. Unfinished Facilities: The hotel premises were, to my disbelief, in a state of incomplete construction. Basic amenities such as toilets, and showers were unfinished, storage in the room for clothes was 1 tiny rail (Pic attached), no draws, no shelving, the lovely pizza ovens you see in the photos (Do not work and won't until summer 2024) I have detailed videos of everything which I wish I could post here but I will post on their Facebook page or any other page linked to them.
