Hotel Ares Milano

In Booking they said we will get breakfast but in the hotel the receptionist said we won’t get it

Really really good value for the money. Good breakfast, nice and spacious room and the bed is really comfortable. Also, the staff is really really nice and friendly and helpful even with city recommendations or places to grab a bite. We really liked it. And the best part, there’s a tram ( Line 2) directly to the City Center and the hotel is in a 20 minutes walk from Milano P. Garibaldi so if you’re arriving on Bergamo, you can walk from the railway station to the hotel without any problems.

The hotel was close to the center, easy to get there by tram or metro. The room we had was spacious and had small balcony. The staff was friendly and nice. Overall it was a very nice stay and would stay there again.

The AC for warm air didn't really heat the room much, the shower was a bit small and the water was running either very hot or cold, it was hard to adjust to the right amount of warmth of the water.

The entire staff are wonderful! Very friendly and helpful. The hotel is older but very charming. Our room was spacious and clean. It is a bit away from the historic center, but it is very easy to get there by the metro.. The staff make the hotel. If we get back to Milan, we will definitely stay there again.

We had a problem with the ventilation in the bathroom, which made a terrible noise every 20 sec. We just found out after the dinner, but the night-porter gave us a spare room, was totally uncomplicated. So nice! We also got a great tipp for a Pizza next to the hotel, very cool! You can take the metro into the city centre not far from the hotel, and there is even a cheap park house "Parcheggio Maciachini", which was great because we spent only a day in Milano. The parking of the hotel was about 15,- Euro/day and in the courtyard of the hotel, also very convenient! The staff is really friendly and helpful.

Breakfast, location, the room and bathroom everything nice and clean.

Receptionist would not let our friend who lives in Milan and was showing us around up to our hotel room for 30 minutes while we took shower and change our clothes. She had to wait down alone. Never happened to me in the hotel before .

Very spacious rooms and great value for money. The breakfast is definitely a plus. The staff is super friendly and very helpful, they made our stay all the more special. Will definitely like to stay there again when we visit Milano! :)

The room was clean and nice, the bathroom was clean as well. Staff was very nice and did their best to help. The hotel is close to a metro station that takes you in less that 10 minutes to the Railway Station or to the Duomo. Buses are close by, as well as an Aldi supermarket. Window had rollers/shutters so that added extra quiet. There was one hard and one soft pillow depending on your preference. Bed was very comfy. Neighbourhood was quiet overnight and in the morning. Overall, it was good value for money.

The receptionist was very polite and generous!! (Now there are reactions in Italy: you HAVE to be at home before 11pm. We arrived at 10:30pm and were hungry.. we asked where we could have dinner. He said that everything was closed and gave us lemon pie for free:)) Room has enough space. It was sparkling clean! Location is good: it takes ~30min to go to the central railway station by foot and ~50min to go to the Duomo Milano by foot as well. In ~5 min by foot there is a nice restaurant “Vulcania” with delicious pizza! Metro and bus stops are also in ~5min walking! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Good value for money

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Geneva. The staff, amenities, and location are all top-notch, and I would definitely stay here again on future visits to the city
