Hotel La Maison Jolie

I cant say how sorry I am about the review I was so angry at the hotel I was speaking of and happy to say the name as it was the only horrible stay in Italy. Bolgheri Marina Resort. They have no restaurant or bar but have it on their restaurant. They have no wi-fi that my wife needed for work Their elevator got stuck between floors with me in it was horrible then saw a sign if that happened dont worry just start over!!! I am so sorry our stay at your place took us 10 minutes to the airport with a full kitchen and amazing bed. It took me this long to get home and figure out the mistake as I was on my phone. besides, the location which was close to the airport, it is a lovely, almost Mexican style resort type of hotel (with a French name, of course). very friendly and welcoming staff.  in a very nice residential area where you get to see true Italy and not tourist Italy. they also called us a taxi service who charged much less than any other service we might have cold. And, of course, they came on time to pick us up. 

it’s not actually the property’s fault, but we were there on a Tuesday when most of the restaurants were closed. We did find two, but they had very limited menus and spoke little to no English.  again, not the property’s fault

It was very simple and exactly what we needed for 1 night only. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had an issue with an AC and they helped out and fixed it right away. Always with a smile and always very friendly. Staff made a reservation for a dinner at a nearby restaurant for our large group

There isn't much around this area since it's in a residential area. If we were to stay for longer we would probably stay closer to the water where there are many restaurants. It was otherwise great value for the money, not much to report

I had a last minute booking after realising the airport would be closed overnight, and Hotel La Maison Jolie were great! After booking they immediately got in touch and organised my self check in, gave me a recommendation for a taxi driver to the airport at 3 am, and were very helpful with all my questions.

The check in was easy and the receptionist Alex was so kind as to hold our bags until the room opened. Alex also helped us get a taxi and gave us recommendations on dinner nearby. We chose the location for its proximity to the airport and to QC Termeroma, a nearby spa. We stayed in a 2-bed room meant for a family and I took the child’s bed while my friend took the letto matrimoniale. There was also a small balcony off the room which I used to dry clothes. We did not use it but the room came equipped with a stove as well.

The hotel staff speak excellent English and provided excellent service-I had a problem with my luggage arriving and they were able to sort it out.thak you! Also I was travelling with a cat and he enjoyed staying here:)... I arrived late and they were able to help me procure some cat food and cat litter because my luggage hasn't arrived..thanks again:(

There was nothing I really didn't like about this place-I was only there for a short time so I wasn't able to make use of the kitchen .. perhaps a few more dishes and pots and pans would be a good addition.

The self late check-in is fantastic and no extra fee is required to check-in after 8:00 pm. This is very hard to find in Rome. The taxi driver who pickede me up from the airport was very nice, he waited for me to finish the passport control which was too long queue. When booking, they will send you the contact info for the taxi drivers who can pick you up or take you to the airport.

I wish they provide breakfast. Only they provide a free coffee from the vending machine. Bus stop and supermarkets are far away, you have to walk on foot around 2 km to reach them.

The hotel was very close to the airport. The gentleman that checked us in was very friendly and gave us a wonderful idea for dinner (the Black sheep) It was delicious. The room was clean, we had a little kitchen which was not required of us but some other visitors may find it useful. The air conditioner worked great. The driver was there to pick us up promptly the next day to take us to the airport.

The pillows need to be updated. They were flat and not very comfortable.

This is a lovely hotel and the receptionist at the front desk was fabulous! He arranged and confirmed our taxi back to the airport very early the next morning. He even offered options for local restaurants and told us how to find an ATM. Staying here was the smoothest part of our entire trip to Rome!

It is a bit far from the airport. We were hoping to be able to walk from the airport to the hotel and back, but we definitely needed a taxi both ways, which was an added expense.

They went above and beyond to accommodate our very late arrive (5am) with easy self checkin and let us sleep in a little after checkout in the morning. The beds were very comfortable and the AC in the room was great. We also had a kitchen and a cute little balcony with a courtyard view. In the morning they helped us find the easiest way to get into Rome from the hotel and called us the private shuttle.

It was a little difficult to get to Rome from the hotel with public transport, but the proximity to the airport made it worth it. They also were great about finding the best transportation option for us and our budget.
