Very nice accommodation well located for various excursions to nearby towns. The rustic and tastefully furnished apartments offer an authentic Tuscan atmosphere. The kitchen is equipped with basic equipment, but enough to last even for longer stays. The apartment on the first floor also has air conditioning. There is enough space on the fairly large property for every guest to find their own quiet corner.

The apartment could have been cleaned better, but apparently this is the standard to get used to in this part of Italy. The manager speaks only Italian

An absolute fantastic place. We couldn't have found better in Tuscany. The farm is beautiful, very well-kept, you can feel the care of the host. The apartment was very comfortable, spacious, equipped with everything one needs and more. You can feel the Italian, Tuscan atmosphere in the bedrooms. Angelo, the host, is a cordial, helpful person, always there when needed, with a smile. And his dinners for guests - a fairy tale that makes you feel like in the movie Under the Tuscan Sun. Perfect location, right under Cortona! I highly recommend it and I hope we will come back there ourselves one day!

Everything was perfect!

We needed to cut our trip short due to personal issues, so only stayed one day instead of four. We will definitely return for a longer stay next time. The apartment was spacious with large rooms and a wonderful fireplace. The owner was so kind and helpful, bringing us firewood and helping us build a fire in the open fireplace. The location is in the Tuscan countryside, only a few minutes off the highway so it would be convenient and easy to get anywhere. We had some trouble finding the address on our GPS, so you might want to ask for arrival directions. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was modern. The kitchen was well-equipped. We really loved this place and were sad to leave after only a day. There are many good restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive from the apartment.

The location, the people. It was what we’ve always wanted. A home away from home to unwind. Toscana is always lovely, esp. in the summer. Cortona is a new place that has captured our hearts. Podere La Vecchia Fornace is a wonderful place to stay in. Near to almost destinations around Tuscany. We look forward to coming back one day.

Just that the bathroom has a sewage odor.

Wonderful, authentic Tuscan accommodation. An excellent starting point for exploring the area.

A minor renovation would be timely. The shower was leaking and needed to be replaced, the glass shelf of the fridge was broken ... with a little extra attention these could all be fixed.

Great rustic style accommodation, spacious and well appointed, comfortable. Nice grounds, good pool.

Hot water worked intermittently, there is no air conditioning as advertised but this isn't really a problem as the house is cool.

The house, big garden and many paths for jogging or walking. The landlord is very helpful, always available.

The kitchen has not very much equipment- caserolles, knifes

Pleasant stay. Nice house in the countryside, close to Cortona. Great location to discover the most beautiful part of Tuscany.
