I give this stay a 9.0 despite the bed issue because it is a wonderful, scenic location, the hosts are pleasant and attentive, the breakfast was full of delicious items and the room is very nice with balconies with mountain views. Also, the son of the hosts referred us to a lovely restaurant, L'antico Torchio.
Some people may like a hard bed, but we don't. Barely made it through the first night, the mattress could be plywood and the flat pillows could be a slab of styrofoam - that is how hard the bed feels. They have copied a thing that we have experienced elsewhere - putting two twin beds together and calling it a "queen" . Very uncomfortable.

Il Laghetto was a perfect little stop over for us to rest on our travel from Tuscany to Sicily. The staff were friendly with very clean, spacious faciities. Delicious breakfast with home made cakes & good coffee. Would return again.

The house is very spacious and beautifully decorated. The Host is lovely and helpful. The location is excellent as it is close to Sights of interest. Train Station is also relatively close. The parking on site is very convenient and secure.

The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was good. Duckpond and huge fish were nice.
Very narrow lane to approach it not very obvious or easy to spot. The room was very small.
