Ticho's is a typical Italian seaside hotel, not for everyone, but if this is what you want , as we did, it is an excellent choice. Good air-conditioning, good plumbing, good shower pressure, good supply of hot water. Breakfast was typical of Italy, Good variety, including hot freshly made food, good coffee.

Hotel is just across the beach, cleanliness of the hotel and room. Sun umbrella and sun bed in front row but we paid for this in the price of our booking. Soya milk available at breakfast for my morning coffee. Breakfast staff was nice and helpful. They accommodated my dietary requirements even though I've asked at the last minute. If you notify them upfront of any dietary requirements, I'm sure they'll provide you with a better choice.
Reception staff is rude. I would advise management to organise some customer service training especially to whoever dealt with us when we checked out. No hello, no goodbye, no how was your stay - seriously unacceptable to have someone this rude at reception. Throughout our stay, all reception staff had a bit of an attitude. They never greeted us and spent their time chatting amongst themselves or staring at customers. Sea view on the first floor is OK for the money but not amazing. Try and get a room on the second floor although don't count on the reception staff to help with this. You can only pay cash at the Lido, poor selection of food for lunch. Drinks selection was also disappointing. Noisy air conditioning, it has to be switched off at night if you are a light sleeper.
