Hospitality cleanliness comfort value for money location Sabrina is a super host, she sent us a video showing how to check in because we were arrived late. The room and the bathroom was immaculate & you couldn’t be more comfortable. We forgot to pay city tax hence we left very early and Sabrina was very accommodating. Didn’t stay for breakfast but assumed it was excellent too. would recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely come back again. Thank you Sabrina

The first thing I must say is that the staff at this hotel were faultless and went above and beyond what they were supposed to do. The moment you arrive, you really feel welcomed. We came with our dog and he loved it there too. The breakfast was also excellent and the breakfast staff were especially friendly and helpful. Parking was a bit of a game every day but we always found a parking spot somewhere at the hotel. The rooms are secure and super clean and they are quite spacious too with comfy beds. The village of Calliano itself is also quite charming and its inhabitants are super friendly too. The pool is also a bonus. The garden was under maintenance when we were there so we didn't get to see that, unfortunately. Check in and check out was smooth. Very close to all the lakes in the Garda area. All in all, I can't really find any faults with this place except for one (in the negative section regarding the hotel) and another one (about the surrounding eateries) but even these are minor points.

The restaurants nearby (Jolly and Dovial) are good spots to eat at but they have a lot of work to do on their service levels because it was not up to scratch (nothing to do with the hotel, of course). The rooms could have had a clothes line or hanger to dry out our towels and clothes but they did not so maybe this is just something to think about for others in the future.

Upon arrival, bathroom smelled like cigarettes Lots of cheap perfume smell in the room, probably because of carpets? You can hear everything, but the bus of people were calm in the end and I slept perfectly. You have to call reception to switch off the heating (?) upon arrival it was like 30 degrees Celsius Very weird kitchy decorations, but it made the hotel exceptional in its own right.

What a friendly, welcoming staff, from the host to all personel like in service with breakfast! A place feeling like home, with a fine pool, beautiful views on the castle nearby. Perfect spot for making daytrips to Trento, Rovereto, mountain hikes etc.! We had a fine 4persons room with nice balcony. Breakfast is super. Thanks guys!!

We had only an overnight stay on our way to south. Check in was fast, room was prepared in advance, no waiting. Breakfast is included and nice. Small issues with heating in the room were fixed by the stuff in matter of few minutes after request. Good work!

Not the host's or hotel issue, but there are not many places around to go for dinner, same as that's not a tourist place where those are open through the day. That's a minor stuff, but if traveling with kids, just keep that in mind to solve in advance.

Beautiful family owned hotel . The staff were exceptional. They did everything they could to make our stay memorable and enjoyable.

I would have liked the choice to have eaten dinner in the restaurant in the evening. This was only an option if you were part of a large group.. The buffet breakfast was excellent every morning.

A very cosy old hotel. I took a small room for one night, soo it was good (for longer stays it is too small of course). Extremely helpful personnel, good internet, TV with Netflix, good breakfast.

It was cold at night, however the heating was on: the last floor on the winds, one-glass window and I suppose there is no isolation in the walls, the corridor was also cold, so this tiny room with cold around could not be very warm.

Easy to reach. Excellent breakfast and very welcoming staff. Historic hotel. Quiet. There is no air conditioning in the rooms. This probably is not an issue most of the time but we visited during a heat wave Fans are provided. There is also a pool but be aware that it closes ar7:30pm. The restaurant is not available but there is a very good pizzeria nearby.

Unfortunately the swimming pool was in reparation process that was a pity because the children could not take a bath.
