Hotel Boston

We have stayed here several times each year recently. We love the location of the hotel, the comfortable modern rooms since refurbishing and breakfast. Very comfortable stay, this time in a suite, as all others were booked. A lovely room and great service in particular from the very pleasant and helpful gentleman on reception on 15th Sep who even went to the trouble to fetch us a mini breakfast while we waited for our early morning taxi at 6.15. Outstanding! We will be back.

Nothing negative

The location was perfect A few minutes to shopping sector and many restaurants. The staff on the reception went above and beyond, to help me with a on the phone visit with a local doctor.. Early check in because I wasn't well. Calling Cabs for me Breakfast was excellant with both hot and cold selection of food 1st in 9 weeks in Italy. The hotel was much better than I expected.

The last night when I returned home at 10.30 pm the air-conditioning in room didn't work. Staff came immediately to help but couldn't get it working. There were no vacant rooms in hotel. They brought a fan and I was also able to open window to let air in. The staff did all they could to solve the problem. Just 1 those things that happen

Really nice staff, willing to help and answer to your questions, rich breakfast, clean rooms, the room was cleaned every day for us. Also, as it was very hot, they prepared a corner near the reception with cold drinks and it was very nice 🙂 If you want to travel with kids under 7 you have to announce prior for receiving a room with enough space. We travelled with two kids (4 and 6 years) and had a room for two adults with an extra bed and it was more than enough room for us.

There were no negative things

The hotel exceeded our expectations, and if we return to Bari, we will definitely stay here. The hotel is centrally located, just a few minutes away from the commercial area and the old town. The room is spacious and clean (cleaning is done daily). Quality WiFi, functional air conditioning. The bathroom is ok (including bidet), clean towels, hot water. The breakfast is varied and of good quality. Parking is a problem, but we found a place in the underground parking (for a fee). There are many restaurants in the vicinity. Maybe a bit expensive, but it's Italy, it's Bari...

The only problem is in the morning, if you sleep with the window open you can hear the street traffic.

The last time we stayed in the hotel a few years ago it was tired and in need of a revamp and we didn’t stay there again. However, this year our usual hotel was unavailable and so we booked again based on recent reviews. The Boston has undergone refurbishment and is now a modern and well furnished hotel with a nice breakfast room with a good selection of food and beverages. The room and bathroom was modern and nicely furnished and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Best night sleep in a hotel room for ages!

Nothing, only two minor niggles. A bedside lampshade which had been broken but not replaced. It should be replaced as a matter of course as this gives the impression of sloppy maintenance. The other small criticism of the bathroom was it had no hooks to hang towels or clothing. Otherwise excellent.

Centrally located, within easy walking distance of the Old Town and good restaurants nearby. There is a handy supermarket opposite too. The buffet breakfast was more than sufficient and good quality. Hot options were replenished regularly throughout the morning. There is a self-operated coffee machine with standard milk, although you can request a barista coffee from the restaurant staff with non-dairy options. The room itself was very modern, spacious and appeared to have been recently refurbished. The bed was HUGE for two people so plenty of room. Double glazed windows kept any traffic noise at bay. The bathroom faciltiies were great too with a waterfall shower.

There could be some more shelves/storage space in the bathroom for additional toiletries. My only other criticism are that the hotel wifi seemed to be patchy in the room, we were only on the 2nd floor. The other issue was the air conditioning. It did not seem to function well or cool the room particularly efficiently, despite best efforts to work out how to use the console. If WiFi and A/C can be improved, I would have no complaints!

Next to the old city and the sea very convenient. The staff parks your car in an underground garage. Breakfast is delicious!

There was no shelf in the bathroom to put the cosmetics. The face towels in the bathroom were not soft like the big towels

The location was excellent, right beside two supermarkets and very close to the old town and shopping street. Breakfast was as good. I would have liked some fresh juice. I hope all the plastic & paper cups were recyclable. Room was lovely & comfortable. Loved the bed, shower and toiletries.

I’d have loved a water fill station in reception. And one English Channel on the TV. I thought there was a roof terrace too.

Clean, modern and well located hotel. Breakfast was adequate and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The bathroom and the room could do with more shelving and drawers for storage. The hotel uses a card key system to access the rooms. Unfortunately, the sensor where we had to tap our card key was located not by our room door, but separated by the adjoining room's door. This means the sensor was rather far away from our room door (we had a corner room) making access rather challenging and awkward. You had to stretch both arms wide at the same time, then try and touch the sensor and push the door at the same time. We did get the hang of it after a while though.

Fantastic location, super clean and big airy rooms. See it’s been renovated recently so it’s up to highest standard. The staff was fantastic and so helpful. We had to leave really early morning so needed help with parking and access to a car and they were so accommodating and Eva left us breakfast box to go. Bari does not have many good hotels (if any!) but this one keeps high standard. The room exceeded our expectations and would come again.
