Hotel Calissano

The Hotel is very well appointed with fittings and furnishings of exceptional quality and it represents excellent value. The staff were unfailingly helpful and polite and anxious to ensure that our stay was comfortable. There is a spacious secure underground car park with direct lift access to the hotel. Although the restaurant was closed on the night we were there the manager kindly made a reservation for us at a charming restaurant in a small square near the Duomo. The hotel is a little off centre so a walk of about half a mile was involved but well worth it.

The location was only a 9 min walk from the city Center and provided a nice stroll after dinner. The hotel itself was well appointed with all the amenities and the staff were incredibly helpful, to the point of walking outside the hotel to show us where parking was (missed it the first time around) and making recommendations for our wine tasting adventure. Breakfast was plenty and delightful and dining was spacious. A lovely experience overall!

Everything. Location was great - a 5 min walk to centro (old town) but was off the grid enough to be quiet. Parking was underneath and ample, which I especially appreciated during the Truffle Festival. Breakfasts were amazing - lots of choices and everything delicious. Rooms were comfortable. The staff was outstanding - especially Lorenzo at the front desk, who gave us a lot of fantastic intel and recommends. The value was incredible for the high level of service we enjoyed

Very good hotel for visiting Langhe region. Convinient parking for a car available with no extra costs. A wide selection of food for breakfast. Very sort distance to main atractions in Alba.

Despite the hotel was very close to city center, it was on a small street and the nighberhood was not very nice and safe.

The property is in a good location, just a short walk from the main city center. the daily breakfast was great! the staff was helpful and free parking is a plus!

the rooms are small and a bit dated, the beds are VERY firm — too firm for me. I felt like I was sleeping on concrete. however, my mom enjoyed it as she said it was good for her back.

The shower requires one to step into the shower to turn on the water and one gets wet with cold water, before it heats up. The TV is set to come on every time one enters the room which requires us to turn it off.

Lovely people working there, the rooms were a bit old fashioned but we liked it a lot - gave it a little nostalgic flair. Huge parking garage with the possibility to charge the car. We’ll definitely come here again.

Nothing really to complain about the only thing that bothered me but not my girlfriend was that the mattress was a bit too hard. Other than that an amazing place.

The hotel fully desertves its 4 star rating from the size of the rooms and the quality of the furniture, beddings and the comfort of the bathroom. The staff is extremely polite, helpful and multilingual. Breakfast was varied and of excellent quality. The location is quiet but close to the old town.

Very good location. A short walk to the city centre and restaurants.

Staff at reception was cold. Did not get the warm welcoming feeling. However, the rest of hotel staff (restaurant staff) was very friendly and helpful

Well kept with excellent staff, facilities are a little basic but perfect for the area in summer
