Great location near Parnell St and O’Connell Street, easy to walk to many locations or transport links Lovely decor and rooms Great breakfast and choice Easy check in process and communication good about this prior to arrival

Was quite warm and could only adjust climate control to 19 so needed window open Bar stick wasn’t great, didn’t have ingredients to make a number of drinks, hadn’t restocked wine so could only offer warm wine as opposed to chilled Pre booked breakfast for 2 days via email, confirmed both days booked but only 1 actually booked, caused issues on the second day with tables

Hotel was clean and fairly modern on the inside. Staff at the reception were very professional and friendly, and accommodate the request for an early check-in with little notice. The shower was great! Location is very central and easy to reach most common tourist spots on foot.

We enquired about the possibility for breakfast as we didn't have that included, but found that it was a bit expensive. While it's in line with most hotel breakfast prices, it's still a bit on the pricey side (16 to 19 Euros if I remember correctly). Plenty of places not far from the hotel to get breakfast if needed, so this was not an issue.

Compared with the rest of our Irish accommodations over 3 weeks, Hotel 7 was the most updated. The staff were smart and efficient, whether it was recommending a good dinner spot, organizing our taxi to Dublin Airport or fixing a minor plumbing issue. Our taxi drivers both commented on how much quicker the airport drive is from this Northern area of Dublin than from popular areas south of the Liffey. Altogether, this is a good hotel to begin or end a visit to Dublin.

Although this part of Dublin near the top of O'Connell Street has adequate facilities for tourists and some interesting galleries and churches, it is neither as stylish nor as fancy as areas on the south side of the Liffey near Trinity.

The room was very clean, The staff were so friendly, when we had a problem in our room they suggested to move us to a different room or help immediately even though it was late at night. The location is very good, just about 5 minutes from the main street, but it was very quiet! For whoever it matters - the room has a full body mirror

We had a room in the 4th floor and only one of the two elevators gets there and it’s at the end of the aisle. The room didn’t have space to open the suitcase and the closet didn’t have shelves to put our clothes. The safe is basically on the floor of the closet which isn’t the most convenient.

Good location which was walking distance to destinations such as Temple Bar and the Guinness Storehouse. Every member of staff was friendly, attentive and accommodating to any requests. We had to wait 30 minutes for our room to be ready for early check in and the hotel staff were apologetic and managed to get things turned around as soon as possible. We were also gifted free breakfast vouchers due to the inconvenience which was appreciated. Rooms were clean and tidy and had everything needed for a pleasant and comfy stay. The breakfast offered in the restaurant was lovely. Everything was super clean and the food offered cooked to perfection! The decor of the overall hotel was beautiful. As it was Christmas everything was festive which was lovely. I couldn’t fault Hotel 7 and would stay here again.

In general the hotel was very nice. Tastefully decorated, clean, friendly staff and in general the breakfast was good (a lot of variety, more than enough). Also the location of the hotel is excellent. Not far from the city centre but just far enough for it to be quiet at night.

The first day the Hollandaise sauce on my eggs benedict was lumpy and curdled. It shouldn't have been served. The last time I ordered it, the sauce was fine. So it was just a bad day of the cook. For my taste the two person bed should be a bit bigger (especially a bit broader).

Great Boutique Hotel near the city center. Lovely old building with a beautiful interior. Staff is friendly and helpful. The room felt nicer irl than they look on the photos. Also nice and quiet during the night, although the room was situated at the back (not sure whether a room facing the street side would be different). Would happily stay here again.

Spotted a little dust in areas easily overlooked (ridges). So not spotless, but overall it seemed clean.

Everything was fantastic, but the prices in Dublin are easily comparable with London, Paris and Brussels, which for the city size and location is a bit unreasonable. A very high cost of living. Also, public transport (no subway/underground) is a mess, constantly overcrowded. Hence, the value for money is my only criticism.

The prices in Dublin are generally too high, whether for locals (cost of living), or for travellers (even coming from West Europe). Moreover, public transport (no underground/subway) is a mess, constantly overcrowded. Overall, the value for money is not good enough.

Gorgeous hotel. Very high quality furnishings and finish. Classy. You’re definitely getting a higher-class hotel here than you’re paying for. And the staff are lovely. The breakfast is great quality and we had drinks one night and dinner there the next and the food and service were excellent. And they had Rituals toiletries and replenished the room with free bottles of water every day.

Nothing. The location is in a slightly less desirable area but easily walkable to wherever you want to go. Just didn’t find that many places to eat nearly. Luckily the restaurant there is great.

Everything about this hotel is perfect. I chose to stay here purely on how it looked when I searched for Dublin hotels. The attention to detail, art, architecture and interior styling made it stand out. The service and attentive, friendly staff made this a super stay and I would highly recommend it. The breakfast was very tasty too. It’s proximity to the art gallery and city centre was great too. They really got it right in the rooms too, I love complete darkness and the curtains did the best job ever of keeping the light out. I will definitely return.
