We love coming here but I feel 240 for two night was a little steep for just a room. I rhink for that price ithat should have included breakfast on the sun morning for that price. It will not stop us from going there again but it could be a suggestion for Mulcahys to look at. Great choice in menus and they have the most fantastic carvery. Very friendly atmosphere and the bedrooms are very clean.

I found the ladies toilets in the bar were not clean at all. There is a staganent smell in them and the few times whilst I used the toilets when i was having few drinks in the bar both night the toilets were not clean at all. There was no hand santizer in the santizers on the walls.

Room was small and up several stairs but appeared very clean and quiet despite being in busy downtown area. Shower was great and restaurant food was lovely. Staff was very friendly and very accommodating. Also a beautiful bar area.

The bathroom sink was missing the drain plug and we couldn’t open it. Had to use shower water to keep from filling up the sink which we couldn’t drain. Parking was a walk down a side street inside a large gated area that was very difficult to find at first. There was no other parking anywhere near the inn. This made it difficult hauling luggage and a bit worrisome with our car being so far away.

The hotel is dead smack in the centre of Clonmel Town. There is a car parking yard a few minutes walk away. I had the vegetarian breakfast which was amazing. Cost not included C€15 There was a warm welcome and everyone was very friendly

This is a quaint old style hotel that is what it is. It is basic, clean, functional and comfortable but staying more than one night in such a small compact room could be too much. It is also expensive for what is on offer. (€140 August 2023) Breakfast was busy and the good humoured efficient waitress was on her own but doing her best to keep up.

Very extensive menus for all meals. I loved the soups and the brown soda bread. Staff were so helpful and accommodating. Thank you

Can’t really say this because it has noted .. the place does not have a loft.. you have to be mobile and be careful carrying luggage. Also 2 suggestions: a hook on the back of the bathroom door would be useful some extra place to put toiletries in the bathroom.

I was staying in the hotel while attending a family occasion so only ate breakfast in the hotel but as I arrived mid-afternoon I had a "snack" a delicious prawn starter from the dinner menu. I never eat a cooked breakfast so it was good to be able to pick exactly what I wanted from the breakfast menu and the creamy porridge was delicious with a great selection of toppings including blackcurrant conserve, mixed nuts and raisins. Also there was a great choice of juices and coffee as well as toast, croissants, Danish pastries, scones etc. The room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated (not always the case in even 4 and 5 star hotels!). Also heating and aircon easy to control. The staff could not have been more helpful. I asked for an iron when I arrived and it was brought to the room immediately.

I truthfully cannot think of anything that could have been improved on!

I was going to be staying at a modern hotel in a city for 2 weeks so I wanted to start my trip from America in a small town hotel with a nice pub. Mulcahy's in Clonmel fit the bill wonderfully. I don't know how old the hotel or its neighbors are, but they were build in the past when architecture was more interesting. The entire neighborhood of stores and shops are updated and modernized, while keeping the charm from the past. The street that Mulcahy's is on is bustling with life and vigor. It was refreshing to see an active small town shopping district. The check in was friendly and easy. They took my bags up while I moved my car to the back lot. The room was comfortable and roomy. The star of Mulcahy's, and the reason that I picked it, is the pub. It is a beautiful, classic pub, run by friendly people. I spent most of my time here getting adjusted from the jet lag. They have a restaurant on the other side of the lobby but I ate my meals at the bar. It is too good to leave. Like all great Irish pubs, it is a neighborhood gathering place, families eating, friends drinking and laughing, and sports on a few TVs.

I don't know if they have an elevator. I took the steps from off the street. It worked for me, even with a bad leg, but I would check with them if you are in a wheelchair.

The Host don't know his name..I wish I had asked his name , he was very friendly ,very welcoming , pleasant and helpful; I was with my sister who came to visit me from India; she was so satisfied with the way the host took care of us. very clean room and excellent facilities; actually I had forgotten to review this place as I was busy. but a recent disappointing stay at a place made me realize that good people and their kindness along with their lovely place need to be appreciated. thank you Mulcahy's . keep up the good work!!

Large walk in shower, A/C , massive bed, good breakfast in restaurant, brilliant location.

To many stairs, no good for anyone with mobility issues. Would have preferred a room on the 1st floor but wasn't given the option at checkin so was given a room on the 2nd floor. Wasn't asked if I wanted our large case carried to our room, probably because I am a guy, elderly but a guy.

The room was great. Spacious, clean, comfortable. The people who ran it ( I know it was Paul who I saw in the bar /restaurant but didn't get the other partners name who checked me in and out but she was also lovely, lent me a much needed umbrella) were both really friendly. I've been to Clonmel lots but never stayed here before (though I have had several pints here over the years) and I can honestly say I'll be staying here again next time I go. Thank you for looking after me.

We had a little foepaa with the room but once highlighted to the Manager its was promptly rectified. The food is excellent and plenty of it. We absolutely love the food here and that's the reason we continue to visit there and the atmosphere as well. Great location and very friendly and helpful attenuative staff. We will 100% be returning very soon.

Nothing. Everything was so so good. We would recommend this establishment to everyone. Everything is within walking distance. Great shops in the area.
