Kokoon Hotel Surabaya

The check in was efficient and friendly.

There were not enough tables for breakfast. A 7 floor hotel with 26 hotel rooms per floor should probably have more than 15 breakfast tables. We were asked to wait when we came in for breakfast or sit in the smoking room. We dodged the smoking room and waited in the reception where we were offered a coffee whilst waiting. After coffee, we decided to skip our prepaid breakfast as there were still no tables available. We were then charged for the coffee as they said it was a specialist coffee. This left a bad impression with us. This part of town is the warehouse district....if you're into that sort of thing.

Friendly and helpful staff and a convenient 15 minute taxi ride from Surabaya Gubeng. Reception team were great especially when i realised i had left my phone in the taxi! All retuned safely... Good shower pressure and a nice little alcove to chill and have a beer after a long day's travel.

Our room on the 7th floor was clean but small and definitely needed some tlc..loose control panel, loose tap and very tired sealant around the shower. But perfectly functional

Lovely welcome on arrival. Efficient friendly staff throughout the hotel. Comfortable bed and pillows. Sufficient choice for inclusive breakfast. Enjoyed swimming pool

As a solo female I didn’t feel comfortable walking streets in the area.. but taxis readily available and good value

I like the heritage building & its interior design, especially in the ground floor, from the main entrance to the restaurant. So many old things such as old telephone, old wall clock, etc. The reception staff are also friendly, good breakfast, nice pool to swim in the morning

The area is too quite, far from the main street and the culinary street, I suggest not to walk alone in the street at night

Very nice rooms, didn’t get to see much else of the hotel. Breakfast was okay, very Indonesian so if that’s not your thing you don’t have many options. Overall glad I could stay here and would recommend it to anyone that’s staying in Surabaya!

It is all well maintained, they have lots of old phones that our kids played with. They had a live singer, pianist and guitarist. Breakfast was good.

We only stayed one night but the Neighborhood was not so good. No problem as the hotel was amazing.

I loved the look and the environment of the building, it was so cool and loved all the old furniture and how the building was keeped.

breakfast could have had a better variaty, the cook was a little slow but food was good.

The staff was great and warm. The room was clean. The food has a good taste, but is should be improve much better.

I found the bath soap was empty, fortunalety i always bring my own bath soap.

I enjoy the hotel's atmosphere and the staff's warm welcome. Its location in old town Surabaya adds to its classic and authentic vibe.

The interior of receptionist area, there are many old items.. The pool is great esp at night with blue light.. Overall it was a pleasure to stay here…

The Variety of food in the breakfast, the hotel wasn’t serve noodles which is common in the many hotels i have visited… The standard rooms don’t have good view (pool) because it’s blocked by structure of the building…
