Ivory Hotel Bandung

Clean & spacy room. Location. Breakfast was ok.

The room was okay but I specifically ask to get a twin bed and when I got there, they gave me a double bed. I asked to change the room and they say if I want to have the twin bed I can but that means that I have to downgrade the room OR upgrade BUT if I chose this option means that I have to pay more. LAH?? If you don't provide the twin bed in this specific room then better to take the bed option out of this application.

Small hotel with highly professional and extremely helpful staffs. Got room upgrade to Deluxe city view which is very spacious with large window. I love morning sun and the window is perfect. The bed is comfortable and equipped with goose downs pillows. Located strategically in a typical leafy small road in, next to Bandung busy area of Jl. Riau & Dago. I grew up in Bandung and spent my childhood around this area as I went to school just around the corner. So this neighbourhood is practically walking down a memory lane for me, and being able to come back here after a decade and found a great place to stay with a homy feeling is a total bliss. Everjoy cafe/restaurant on ground floor offers a great range of food (my food came exactly like the picture!) and drinks, and also a specialty coffees. The area, as almost everywhere in the city, has tonnes of options for culinary enthusiasts within walking distance. I planned to stay for 2 nights but extended to 4 nights, went to south Bandung for adventure trip and returned back to Ivory for 2 nights. There are few similar little hotels around, but I've done my research and I didn't regret mu decision to stay here. Best location. Best service. Worth every penny! And Time!

Sadly the fridge didn't work on my last night, but not a biggie.

Room: Amazing. I got a free upgrade upon booking; was able to get a nice comfy room with city view (not really a view tbh). But the room though, it's really clean, and that alone already made the stay great. Was struggling to find other hotels that are actually clean but not so expensive (around 3-4*) and this one fell to my radar after looking at other reviews. Beds were comfy and we actually got a nice pillow (not those cheap flimsy ones or hard ones). Staff were so polite and helpful; i lost my key and they are willing to replace and change the lock for my security. Tldr, really happy with during my stay and i thoroughly enjoyed my vacation. Room service food was the bomb; pricey but really yummy. Location: really strategic, lots of good food around. The lobby itself are attached to the restaurant that's also serving the guest for breakfast. The cake sold was tasty. Stairs to the lobby and to the room on the 1st floor (they do have elevators to 2nd fl and up). So be wary if you have a big luggage, need to lift it a bit but staff can help.

Breakfast was really subpar, very limited choice and cold when i get there. Then again, i have no expectation since the hotel is 3*, and wasn't really going to stay for the food, but for the clean room. LIke i can see how they are compromising on the bare minimum food but everything else is honestly amazing. Oh but the room service food on the other hand, they are expensive but dang it's so yummy, worth the price.

The hotel is located within a quiet posh neighborhood and it is only a short drive from central Bandung. There are several good restaurants around. Breakfast is fine.

I have no issue with the hotel but I am really pissed offs with the restaurant on the ground floor. It is a fine restaurant with good decor. We had lunch after checking in. The lunch was fine though. After lunch my wife wanted to have ice cream. Unfortunately in this restaurant ice cream is "packaged" with coffee. They flatly refused to served ice cream separately on its own, because on the menu it is packaged with coffees but we do not drink coffee. So to have ice cream we have to buy the coffee too. This was my first experience a restaurant refusing to serve ice cream and I was really furious. If you force your customer to buy coffee that you don't drink, that is a rip off. Even if you like the hotel very much when the restaurant failed you then your stay is not enjoyable after all.

The hotel was conveniently located. Close to the Yogya department store where we could find food and other necessities. The hotel manager and staff they all were friendly and accommodating. We extended our stay for another week, and got to keep the upgraded superior room at a discounted nightly rate.

Suggest the hotel to improve the taste of the cooked breakfast, and the selected menu for the day. We stayed at this hotel in 2022, and were of the opinion the breakfast was not as tasty.

When arriving at this hotel, you immediately feel at home. Good coffee place in the ground floor. Very helpfull and friendly staff. Some did speak english well. Most comfortabel bed i’ve slept in during my traveling in indonesia. Shower and wifi both are great. Hotel is located in a good area, not noisy and nearby restaurants and clothe stores. It’s a 15 min walk to jl braga street. Excellent value for the price. Would definately go back to this hotel when i return.

Location is just perfect. Not on the main street yet still walking distance to alot of eating place and main attraction (Gedung sate & Gasibu). The room if clean, homy & comfy. Breakfast taste good. It has attached cafe that serves yummy food and wide range variety of coffee. It might has limitef parking space. The staff will helps with free valet service. This hotels easily become our fav.

Located on small road, so not very crowded especially in the morning when you can enjoy the outdoor while having breakfast. But the location is very strategic. The cafe is very nice. The family room is spacious and clean.

Small and veey limited parking space. Room service only available until 9 pm, which is very inconvinient when you feel hungry in the middle of the night.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient and central. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. The hotel has a terrace to enjoy a drink in the evening. There are not many bars n Bandung so that was nice.

The sound insulation was not great. However there hasn't been a hotel in Indonesia with good insulation so maybe you can't blame this specific one for a general standard.

Food in the dining room was very good. Coffee was excellent. Staff most helpful and friendly. Reception was also very helpful and friendly. Room attendant was most helpful.

Perhaps a shuttle transfer from train station Padalarang to hotel would be nice.
