Ramada by Wyndham Varanasi Katesar

The hotel was clean . And the desk staff were very kind when I discovered that I had left my house keys in the room . They were found and forwarded on to us at our Jaipur hotel thank you very , very much to the manager and staff for that 😀

Dreadful service at breakfast the whole dining room staff had no idea how to serve customers it took almost 15 minutes to get a cup of black coffee with them mostly only serving prepaid weak tastless coffee with milk and sugar the food was very poor and the yougut in a huge bowl with god knows what floating in it the fruits were sour and I feel very tastless and cheap. Thus I had only coffee for breakfast every morning . No western options at all.

The hotel staff was prompt and polite and the hotel was clean and functional. Overall, it's a good deal.

The breakfast spread could have been better and the menu could have been changed daily. The bed rooms do not have reading lamps on the bed sides and the overall lighting in the room is a bit low. Guests for wedding banquet functions are allowed to enter the room areas and the noise made by them in the corridors adjoining the rooms can be very disturbing at night. Ideally, guests for late-night wedding functions should not be allowed to enter the room areas. The location is on the non ghat side of the Ganges and traveling to and fro from the hotel is quite unpleasant on the dusty roads, with no ola or uber connectivity, with only autos to serve you as an economical mode

The customer services is amazing. Mr. Ravindra Tiwari, who works at the front desk was of great assistance and turning a bad situation to a good stay. During our stay, there was hot water issue as the hot water boiler did not work. The staff at the hotel did bring us hot water for bathing and washing. Mr. Ravindra was highly professional and was great at customer services. Our reservation was for 3 days and he did provide us with discount on the room as the boiler was not repaired. He was highly professional, respectful, polite and empathetic. We would like to thank all staff at Ramada for caring and providing great customer service. We would like to thank GM as well for having hired great staff like Ravindra at this establishment. This would be our go to hotel for sure whenever we visit Varanasi.

It is a neat and airy property with spacious surroundings. However there is a big confusion that happened to me about Ramada in Varanasi, between this one in Katesar and the one in Varanasi Cantonment. Check bookings carefully. The staff in this property is extremely good and very very courteous and the management is very accommodating, which makes the stay, even though on the opposite side of the Ganges, a very memorable one. All queries are attended to instantly to the extent that when I wanted some honey and cloves in the middle of the night for a nagging cough, they were immediately there with it. 👍🏾Their email connectivity for communication is also quick. Make sure the air-conditioning in the room is good

Air conditioning is slightly suboptimal

Breakfast was quite good. General cleanliness was good. Good property if you want to take brief walks within. There was a staff from F&B named Akshay, who really saw to our needs in a proactive manner.

If you want to stay close to Ramnagar Palace (10 minutes by car/ rickshaw), this is a good place. However the locality otherwise is quite lonely. Great if you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle, or if you have engagements which will keep you within the hotel. But if you want to eat out, there is zero option in the vicinity. We were told that Swiggy was also not allowed, so you will need to dine at the restaurant/ at your room. The choice of menu is quite elaborate though, but thought a little pricey.

Breakfast was satisfactory.

On request facility driver's stay arrangements were not provided on first day as told and confirmed by receptionist . We had to speak to your staff Mr Suraj but of no avail however next day our driver was accommodated. Approach route is also not very smooth and road conditions outside is not up to the standards.

except night staff, rest were good and cooperative. The first person I met in morning before checkin seems to be untrained to handle customers. once I checked in afternoon, day staff was good and caring.

breakfast spread was very average and poor quality food. Location is an problem if need to visit your hotel frequently

Property was beautiful clean and spacious, staff was helpful, breakfast was amazing and so tasty and dinner was best additionally music performance was also soothing.

Location, it is far from main temple area and road construction was going on so in few days it will be good

Breakfast was very good and more than that staff attending was very courteous and willing to extend service with smile.also like to mention their greeting attitude by saying namaste and that is keeping our indian values and culture intact. keep it up

Mandatory to have swimming costumes in swimming pool and also the distance of property from the destined areas like baba vishwanath etc
