Shikarbadi Hotel - Heritage by HRH Group of Hotels

Location and the surroundings of the property were absolutely great. Staffs were helpful and courteous. Services were prompt. Lot of careful detailing have been applied to give the property a great look and feel.

- Breakfast spread : Management needs to look into the variety and quality of breakfast. It really quiet average and not a satisfactory one. - Room amenities : Rooms fittings need upgrade and looks like little old compared to Hotel's other amenities. Although staff takes extra care to make each room a neat and clean one.

Breakfast decent, with limited options...property outside the city but a paradise for nature lovers...with a private stud farm, a lake, and a small airport...can see deer & peacocks in abundance...

Property outside the city, hence a car or a taxi necessary for going anywhere, due to some ongoing construction activity going on, there was sound rattling in the daytime

Location is exceptional and the staff are really available and helpful. It was definitely a wonderful stay. the view from the room was the main attraction for us. Had a great stay.

Only negative was the price. we paid 7200 per room, which we didn't find was worth it, as any other activities we opted was also additionally charged.

Location of this hotel is pretty close to Highway, which is a big plus if you are travelling to/from Gujarat. Away from the rush of the city, Shikarbadi is a heritage hotel with a lot of history associated with it. Room close to nature, excellent views, deer & peacock right next to your room are some of the best experiences which a family with kid can experience. Staff was very courteous and polite, readily available for help. If you are looking for Five Star treatment then this is not the place for you, however, if you are a nature lover and like to be at a Comfortable Cozy place where you see the nature all around then this is the best one. Rooms were big enough in size with all the basic amenities in place. Washrooms were pretty clean, though average.

Food and Food and Food. They don't have fully working restaurant, the prices of each and every stuff is exorbitantly high. Taste is very average and options are extremely limited. We opted for going out for our meals and that was a wise decision. They also charge 20% Service Charges on top of the Menu prices. However, I seriously wish if they had variety of menu and couple of relevant prices which matches with other hotels, it could have been awesome.

Awesome place, mornings and evenings are a bliss and if you're trying to Kindle a liking for photography... Then you have reached the perfect spot.... Deer and Peacock feeding make it more interesting.... The rooms give you a good slice of what a royal stay would look like.

Nothing to highlight.

The hotel had a great view ,good facilities and awesome front office staff.

The service of the restaurant was poor even the room service was poorer it took 45 min to get food and 20 minutes to get phulka . When ever ask something they will always say no . That is the only point where I was not satisfied.

Beautiful place intact in nature.Staff is very courteous and helpful.Cleaniliness is well maintained. Place was more beautiful than expected.Surrounding animals like peacock,horses,deers were additional beauty.Lake is beautiful.Place os well maintained.Restaurant has good food quality.

Do not go without personal vehicle.Town is far.Unless you plan to spend whole trip in resort u need your own vehicle to go around.

Overall our experience was great. Liked the service and ambience. Enjoyed the horse riding and gun shooting. Morning BF was also satisfactory. Specially the Peacock and Deer.

Lights in the room

the location is slightly away from the city centre but its an ideal location if you are driving and have to hit the Ahmedabad Highway. the food was awesome with a good breakfast options even during Covid. The rooms facing the lake were really awesome

the Hotel also has the Royal Stud farm which the guests don't have access. This should have been clearly stated
