SwaSwara Gokarna - CGH Earth

We loved the peace and tranquility, the helpfulness and friendlessness of staff..particularly the waiter pranay, the cook for his demonstrations.. shivanand,and the lovely pool man. The pool was great. Enjoyed the yoga and aqua yoga, cookery demos, room was lovely.

Loved the snacks but timing is wrong if you are going to do yoga at 5. Please serve at 4 and not 4.30. The menu was rather limited..you need some lighter lunchtime snacks or salads.. not the same menu as the evening. Could have had the massage treatment menu in the room and the ayurvedic consultation was a bit meaningless.

A very different kinda stay. Calm ,peaceful , one where you can find yourself in the silence. The konkan bungalow is amazing. The service of the staff is great Great views around the property to stroll Beach is walkable and has private access through the property The konkan thali for lunch was great in the restaurant Breakfast is amazing - they serve healthy food ( farm sourced, organic, no sugar, flour etc.) Lots of activities - clay art, painting, cooking class , yoga /meditation. Can take ayurveda massage and therapies if one wishes to. Got myself a massage and it was not bad. Note: traveled with our 5 year old and he had a ball. But i understand, they typically don't allow kids below 16 during the peak season.

No room service ( understand their philosophy of mindful eating and also the bungalows are open air ) Food in the restaurant was slightly overpriced for snacks, etc.

We had a wonderful stay at Swasara. Right from the check in to the demonstration of the facilities in the room and to checkout, everything was very professionally managed. The villa itself is out of the world, lots of open spaces to relax and a very nice bedroom. The staff is excellent, very courteous and take care of all your needs. Restaurant is good, they have limited choices but i think it was sufficient. The food was excellent. Lastly not to forget the Ayurveda massage center. Like everything else in Swasara, this is also well managed.

Nothing worth mentioning

Staff all amazing, beautiful property, amazing pool, bedroom and lovely beach access. The included yoga classes were lovely too! I had one massage which was also nice.

We both like a firm mattress but found the bed much too hard for us- I struggled to sleep because of it. We also thought for the huge price tag we were getting all our meals included so that was quite a shock. But that is my fault for not asking really. We loved it but without the meals all included we wouldn't return just because it's over our price tag!

Private, jungle, comfortable, serene. Should stay more than two days to experience the property and surrounds. Good massages. Rooms large with several comfortable nooks to relax.

In-house bottled water had re-usable caps with mould in caps. Very limited menu options, hardly any seafood, no diet drinks, no fruit juice. Very basic breakfast. Waitrons hardly speak English. Service slow. Walkways extremely slippery.

Amazing location, absolute calmness, wonderfully developed property in terms of landscaping, design of each villa/room/cottage, quality and healthy food, good Ayurvedic treatment facility and doctor, very cordial staff, well connected to good eateries. overall, very pleasant experience and would love to go back to anytime. looking forward to my next trip again to this place.

I can’t say I didn’t like, but I imagined it to be like any other resort, which this place is not. lack of amenities for fun for kids could be an issue if you are travelling with kids and if kids have lot of expectations around fun from the property. however, property is right on a clean and superb beach front that can give plenty of play time for kids.

Location was fantastic on OM beach . Villas are tastefully designed with open air theme giving a earthly village look with modern amenities which is very good .

Restaurant was pathetic to say the least . We understand it’s Ayurvedic resort but Satvik food has loads of varieties and taste and management definitely needs to upgrade here. Even breakfast was extremely poor taste for this price of resort. Restaurant management and attentiveness of restaurant staff needs attention . Good we didn’t select all meals plan as there were fabulous restaurants in OM beach and kudle beach .

The ambience environment was very calm and welcoming The staff were exceptionally obliging The food was amazing Over the five days the food was different every time and amazing It was fresh and very healthy

Swaswara is a beautiful resort. The living spaces and the common areas are very thoughtfully designed and very spacious. Every unit has a small courtyard and a mini terrace. There are lots of nooks within your unit where you can just sit and read. They don't use plastic anywhere. Water is given in glass bottles. Even toiletries are given in very cute mini porcelain pots. They have yoga, cooking sessions, art and pottery to keep the guests occupied. The sea is in close proximity which makes it a very nice place to stay. The food which they make is healthy and nutritious. Maybe it has lesser options, but they make up for it with the taste. It is always freshly prepared and is never oily. Their desserts are to die for and they don't use sugar. Their staff is very polite and well informed and always willing to help. Overall one of the best places where I have stayed and it leaves a lasting impression. A good place to unwind and destress during pandemic times.

Villa is very nice and location is good, just on the Om Beach with direct access from the resort. has some yoga classes everyday.

No room service, No food options other than one restaurant with limited menu, staff is not so welcoming at the restaurant. No TV in room, they call it digital detox.
