Temple Street Hotel - Toronto Motel Group

We stayed at New Lucky House in Jordan. It was near the MTR and it had a lift which was very helpful since we had 6 luggages.

Our booking was for Temple Street Hotel but when we got there we saw that we had to go uo 2 flights of stairs in order to reach the lobby. Unfortunately, we we're told that the room assigned to us was in Yau Ma Tei which was 14mins away from Temple Street. We could not believe how this happened when in fact our booking confirmation clearly stated that it was in Temple Street, their reason was that there was no Family Room in Temple Street Hotel. We felt deceived but we we're so exhausted from the trip already that we just decided to proceed, but to our surprise the building where we had to supposedly transfer had NO lift as well and we could not bear the long walk anymore so they offered us a room in New Lucky Hotel where it had a lift and was just around 2 mins away from Temple Street. We felt trapped with the options because if we chose to transfer to New Lucky we had to pay additional 800HKD and convert our family room to only a Double Room. I had a very low expectation when it comes to stays in Hong Kong because I've been there many times but this one was really very disappointing and unbearable. At the end, we had no choice but to add 700HKD and downgrade our room just so that we could finally rest and recover. It was very stressful and it was my first booking.com transaction, which made me feel a bit hesitant booking here again. The only consolation we had was that thw caretaker Ms. Lisa was very nice and accommodating that she took care of us and lobbied us to her manager to help us trim down the cost of the additional. It was very difficult for us but she was very helpful.

The staff members were polite.

Very noisy both from outside and from other guests. Drug use by other guests was pretty gross and the smell was extreme.

The Wrost place 1.When i arrived the place its show on app, they said its full need to go somewhere else which is the same company, why didn't tell the customer before arrive 2.The air-condition leaking the fuvking dirt water when you wanna go to bed, complain to the front, he just gave a fuvking blanket 3.Room is small which i did not expect 4.If you book this place which you have to sleep with your roommate the cockroach family 5.The owner could go in your room without any notice Everything is suck there, do not go there

Poor sanitation, poor service, no bed sheet, no blankets! Almost froze to death, if you ask the staff they will scold you for it. Also asked for more money! We could not refuse for they threatened to give the room to others who were there asking around for tooms. Are all Toronto group hotels are like this or just this one, maybe Hong kong is also this bad? Anyway to all those who are involved, it was a bad experience and we hope it will be better in the future.

The hotel was closed and no one manned the office....I arrived at the scheduled date, but the hotel was closed we didn't stay there but still I was billed for the whole 3days. So disgusting.

It was a scam.

The location and price is good.

Very small room. The light and lid of the toilet in bathroom is broken. Very bad bathroom environment.
