Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong Kowloon CBD2, an IHG Hotel

The property was clean - in fact, very clean. Credit must go to the female housekeeper who was superb in her efforts to make us all very comfortable. The room was very quiet. Breakfast in the morning was brilliant.

The delays using the lifts. The location is far from the key tourist attractions and areas. Gladly, the hotel is located between Ngau Tau Kok and Kwun Tong metro stations - both which are within a few minutes walking distance to the hotel.

Clean

I have the problem with laundry machine, I purchase 2 token cost 120 dollars HK at front desk ! The laundry machine does not working correct , the soap is stuck, I call the people of front desk to explain what going on, and try 3 times but the soap is still stuck with his present ! My clothes is wet could not put in my suit case then I used dry machine to dry them, I asked the people working in front desk refund my money then they refused to refund , I asked to talk with the manager , he give me back 60 HK dollars only , because I have used 60 HK dollars for dry machine ! He is not professional to handle such problem ! I lost 3 hours in the morning about that with them ! Would you please sold this problem for your next customer in the futur

Our room is clean, tidy with complete amenities. The bed is comfy to sleep in and the water pressure in the shower is great. Bathroom is unique with great bright lighting. In fact, the whole room has good bright lighting. All the staffs were welcoming, helpful and polite. Although it is not located in the usual tourists go to spots, there are many good eateries and places to explore. We've really enjoyed going for walk along the wooden deck walk in Kwun Tong promenade overseeing waterfront with beautiful night lights and uniquely structured decos along the way. Also, we got to see musical fountain whilts there which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, a great place to stay and highly recommended.

Maybe the breakfast could switch it up a little. We stayed for 5 days and it's basically the same everyday. But other than that, breakfast was okay.

Several choices every morning for breakfast, both Western and Eastern were appreciated. The Sky Garden is a fabulous outdoor space. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom fixtures were very clean. The proximity to bus lines and metro is very nice.

A gym would be a nice addition, perhaps with equipment in the Sky Garden. The towels I used were not put on the floor but still taken away and changed. The staff need to pay attention to this environmental policy that is in writing on the walls of the room.

I went for a room with a queen size double bed and a sofa bed for three persons. I needed to open the sofa bed myself and found that there is a little bid mould on the support layer underneath. Also there is no pillow and blanket provided for this extra bed. This gives me the impression that the hotel did not prepare for this though I have specify a room for three persons when I am doing the booking. However, I still give the hotel good rating because it responds promptly when I requested for the blanket as well as the iron & ironing board.

The hotel did not do the necessary preparation and setup of the extra bed that I requested.

I loved the staff. Super nice and understanding, full service to help under distress. This hotel is old and need some fix, but the staff is gold. I liked them and hope lots of success to them ❤️

The elevator stopped working. I was with a kid and we walked down 16 floors down before we got a ride down and walked up about 16 floors,before we got a ride up to our floor on 22.md with a fixed elevator.

Hotel was very clean, bed was super comfortable with a choice of different kinds of pillows. I didn't ask for room service during weekend but toiletries were delivered upon request. Fridge worked. Had a good view. Breakfast was simple but tasty. I mean genuinely tasty, specially the French butter and toast and fried rice. Area is safe. APM mall, business district and promenade/ferry is 15 min walk. Easy public transport access.

Location and cleanliness

Breakfast was average and the worst par was that after 10.30 am we have to get up and go from the reataurant. Guests are not allowed to have breakfast on the table after 10.30 and the staff was asking us to pack buffet breakfast and go. This was very absurd and awkward. I don't know which other Holiday Inn or any other reataurant does this type of thing. It's quite annoying actually.

Hotel is close to MTR station, shopping mall nearby. Breakfast buffet is nice. Everything very clean. Bay view and walking park on 5 minutes walking distance.

A bit boring environment with parking garages and office buildings. Rooms are not spacious. No in-house bar nore (open) restaurant. Shops and the shopping mall close at 9pm.

Great city view, fast check in, good and fast responding staff. Great location in case of access to different transort, near the metro and bus stops. Acceptable breakfasts. AC is working fine. Everything is pretty clean.

Not so easy to find the hotel, although it is pretty close to metro. Street has some not very good smells. Voyages to centre are not so short to be comfortable.
