Fantasia Hotel Apartments

It was very difficult to find a place for five people in Kos but Fantasia Apartments was our lucky shot. The building is just beside he hospital in a very quiet and strategic area: you are so close to everything! We had a car and not being in the very old city center was perfect because we always found it very easy to park it. The price is absolutely honest for a very essential but super clean apartment. Our apartment had a gorgeous balcony, two rooms, a small living room and a tiny but good kitchen. It's not luxury, it's not brand new or super modern but it's very comfortable and perfect for a summer holiday accomodation. The staff is very very very kind and always helpful for your needs.

The 4-5 person apartment was pretty spacious with a small kitchenette set up. It was very clean, courtesy of a very sweet and talented housekeeper. They provided extra soaps, blankets, and pillows as well as daily housekeeping services. There was a good sized courtyard in the back that was perfect for securely storing our group’s bikes (11 total). Beds were pretty comfortable, but not the best. We also had a spacious balcony that had a nice view and was great for drying clothes. There is a great cafe right downstairs as well!

Reception was not readily available during check-in times and we had to contact them and wait a bit before being able to check in.

Pros: +very good location +quite enough space for three adults (or three people in total, 4 is too much in my opinion) +huge terrace with really nice view +efficiently working AC units (although, unit in bedroom is a bit loud) +cheap (I've paid 35 €, which is a fantastic price for that location during summer time) +nice bathroom (tiny, but fully functional) +equipped "kitchen" - you can easily fry, cook, there's full service (just for two people) of cutlery, as well as coffee express, sink, owen

-annoyingly loud smoke detector in the kitchen -furniture could be newer (but it is still functional) -at least two switches, that weren't described or explained, what do they turn on (one in bathroom, one in bedroom) -loud bells on Sunday morning (although it is hard to blame hotel for that)

Amazing location, really close to the heart of Kos Town, historic sites, and nice beaches. Can also very much recommend a fab fruit and veg market shop and butchers close by for supplies. Very spacious and comfortable apartment with fantastic roof terrace! Friendly and helpful staff, easy to contact if any problems or help needed. Great hot water, TV and wifi access.

We found we were just missing a chopping board, a couple more bowls and chopping knife....but all other equipment in kitchen was perfect for cooking up meals each day.

Great value for money, friendly cleaner, reliable air conditioner, nice balcony, good location, comfy sofa and beds, free top ups of toilet roll and shower gel although inconsistent

Wifi connection unusable in our room - 101. Loud church bell ringing at 7am every morning that woke us up, lack of washing up equipment

Large size apartment in perfect central location for an affordable price, cleaned every day, individual rooms for children and adults, individual kitchen, balconies, right next to one of the best streets of Kos town, walking distance to both the big ferries port and the smaller harbor port for day cruises to other island, right in the middle of all the archeologic attractions such as agora, casa romana, western escavations. Plus next to shopping places. Perfect location really to live like a local in a very central location.

bathroom could be a little bigger and cleaning although wonderfully done every day by a joyful and nice lady, could pay a bit more attention to hidden spots such as light switches

The distance to the center of the town.

The beds were very hard. Almost everyday a lot of trucks through the main street, coming off the ferry. The kitchen equipment is very poor.

We loved that the apartment got cleaned everyday. Also towels where replaced when they were dirty. Our drain in the bathroom was blocked so we had 1 day a issue with to much water on the floor. This Problem got solved at the same day after a quick call and we could enjoy our shower again in the evening. We loved the quick and efficient solution.

The hanger for the shower was broken so you had to hold the shower head while taking a shower.

Location was good.

The staff wasnt ready for us. We had to waite after 3.30pm to check in, the person incharge was not at the hotel and didnt provide us the wifi passsword.

Location is nice...we will visit again...room 301 has a huge terrace with a beatiful view...

The church nearby is fantastic but the bells wake you up very early :)
