Atlantis Hotel

I loved pretty much everything about this hotel. First, the location literally cannot be beat. This is one of the first hotels built in Fira and, as such, is located on prime real estate. Other hotels are located on a cliff side and require you to walk up and down hills and stairs to reach the property or even your own room. Not so here! This is at the top of the hill so no stairs involved. It is also located very close to the bus stop and many souvenir stands and restaurants. Tours also pick up at or near the hotel. You can do Santorini by staying at this hotel. The breakfast was great with lots of variety. The hotel also gives you 2 free bottles of water EACH DAY which is great because you can't drink the tap water on the island. If that water isn't enough, stop by the hotel's cafe area and buy more which is super cheap and convenient since you don't need to rely on a stand or store to buy water. The pool area and breakfast porch also offer fantastic views of the volcano and sunset. You can watch the sunset right from the hotel, no need to go to Oia (but you can since the bus stop is so close!). Yes, the facilities are older (see above about how the hotel is one of the first) but this adds to the charm of being on Santorini. You really feel like you are in a movie. Highly recommend this hotel!

Atlantis Hotel is very lovely and in an excellent location. As a single female traveler, I went to Fira on Santorini for pure rest and relaxation. The room itself was clean, bright, comfortable, and small, but the VIEW of the sea and the caldera was worth the room rate charge. I was able to view the gorgeous sunset on the 3 evenings I was there and enjoyed the beautiful fresh sea air in the morning. The entire staff of the hotel was extremely kind, professional, and courteous. A special thanks to the receptionist staff of Dimitrios and Anna. On each of their shifts, they were able to answer my questions and help me book transportation to and from the port. Most importantly, they helped me get transportation to a medical clinic on the island so that I could get tested for Covid-19 as a new and sudden CDC requirement in order to fly back into the USA. In all, I really enjoyed my stay there. One tip I would give visitors is to invest in earplugs because the sounds from nearby street noise from diners and people just enjoying life well past midnight, will help you sleep better, especially if you leave the balcony window open to enjoy the fresh sea air.

The staff I encountered from all areas were friendly, helpful, always greeted me with a smile. My room was perfect with a glorious view of the caldera and it was wonderful to sit on the balcony with a coffee in the morning or to watch the sunset in the evening. The location couldn’t be better, right next to shopping, restaurants, and a short walk to bus and taxi. The buffet breakfast every morning was fresh and had more than enough choices. Definitely my choice in Fira!

While the pool area was clean with a great view of the caldera, the water was way too cold for swimming.

The location of this hotel was excellent. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Our room was spectacular. The pool area was so tranquil and the view of the caldera sunset was fabulous. This is one hotel that I wouldn’t hesitate revisiting or recommending. Outstanding.

We arrived early in the morning, and even though they didn’t have to do this, they offered us an early check-in because the previous guest had already checked out. Also, we were offered coffee and snacks even though our paid breakfast was only the next day. The hotel staff was extremely friendly, but Spiros was the best of the best, he is the most attentive personnel we ever met. What else, the price is reasonable, the location is perfect, 3 min walk to the bus station, the view is amazing, every evening we hurried to the room to view the sunset from our balcony. I recommend this hotel without any doubt.

WiFi in the room

An excellent hotel, in the best location! The hotel has kept the classic and vintage style, with simple decorations that may seem outdated, but everything is perfectly functional and impeccably clean! The central bus station of the island is a few minutes walk. The rooms are of optimal size, the bed is very comfortable with very good quality linen. The panoramic view from the small (but sufficient) balcony is absolutely spectacular, you can perfectly see the sea, the caldera, the epic sunset. We couldn't even have a more beautiful view! The cleanliness is impeccable, the towels are changed daily, also the set of cosmetics. Breakfast is varied and very good, congratulations to the lady Chef for the good and tasty food! The waiters are the nicest we have ever met, always smiling and extremely kind and attentive, friendly and very helpful, offering a lot of suggestions and information about the island, . We thank Andreas and Adonis for their impeccable service! Andreas provided us very useful recommendations for restaurants in Perissa, his hometown. A special remark for Spiros, with his elegance and kindness, politeness and manners worthy of the royal court. He was very generous in information, knowing very well the geography and history of the island, explaining in a pleasant and interesting way. We named him "Mr. Google of the island" :)) Thank you, dear Spiros, for the way you made us feel during the 7 days of vacation! Anna and Dimitris from the reception are very nice, being always willing to help. Dimitris helped us a lot with recommendations and suggestions, being always willing to help. The cleaning ladies are nice and kind and do their job impeccably! We didn't use the pool, the Aegean Sea was enough for us : ), but the pool looks very nice and clean. We are happy to choose this hotel and we would definitely return here! Congratulations to the hotel manager!

View from the private balcony was exceptional. We were able to enjoy the magnificent sunset every day. It was like a sacred area where I had some quiet down time at night with the ocean, the sky, and the caldera. Location couldn't be more perfect. As for the breakfast, I enjoyed coffee(most important!) so much. Tzatziki, yogurt, and feta cheese were fresh and tasty.

Knowing that it's one of the oldest hotels of the island, a slow door key or old bathroom facilities wouldn't surprise me. But I think the towels must be replaced with new ones. Too old to be white any more.

The location was perfect, super close to everything in Fira. the view from the balcony was amazing, perfect view of the sunset and caldera. The room was very clean and the service and staff was perfect, super polite and very attentive. Special thanks to Spyros and the breakfast team.

Everything was perfect!

The location was perfect, central to everything and bus station 2 min walk away which was main route around the island. so many choices of shops and restaurants 5min walk away. We had an amazing room and view from balcony was spectacular. all the staff were super friendly. breakfast was good and again with a great view each morning

it would of been nice if the room was slightly bigger as the bed was pushed against the wall. also showering was not a great experience as the shower curtain kept sticking. other than those rest was perfect!
