Best Western Hotel Hohenzollern

Everything was excellent. The room was clean, big and just what we needed. The breakfast was from 6.30am - 11am so we didn't need to get up early and the food was excellent - I tried everything and it was all great. I'm coeliac and they sorted me some bread - warm too! The saunas were just the right temperature - sometimes saunas are not hot enough. The pool was a shock - very 'fresh' - but exactly what was needed to cool down after saunas - perfect, once you'd got used to it. Sauna & pool au naturale was lovely too. On the first night we got there, we were very tired (train problems) and the staff could not have been more attentive explaining how things worked to us - we will go back again. Also, it was so close to the station so I didn't have far to carry our bags either way.

It was all perfect.

The hotel looked modern and impressive. The staff were friendly. They allowed us to keep their luggage at the front desk until our check-in time. The room was clean and quite big. The bathroom as well.

The beds were very uncomfortable. Which is weird, because sleeping is kind of the main function of a hotel. The pillows were very deflated. They might as well not have been there at all. We slept very poorly while there and woke up with some back pain. They could definitely afford better pillows.

Location, clean, service

Booked a room with a double bed, ended up getting a 2x single beds next to each other moving frequently. That was not as on the picture. Beds were also little too soft so for some of us who used to sleep on our belly this is odd…

Room is very clean. Water, coffee and tea are provided. Breakfast has a lot of varieties and delicious. They provide breakfast box for take away when I am too early for breakfast in one morning. Location is excellent as it is 1 min. walk from main station.

We don't notice that we need to inform the hotel for everyday room clean up.

Top location across the train station. Wasn’t expecting much, but the room was large very clean with a very nice bathroom with shower. Coffee, tea and water were made available complimentary.

Aw we stayed for 1 short night, no further comments. Didn’t try any facilities nor breakfast.

Reading previous comments, I thought I must have gone to the wrong hotel. The area was fine, the restaurant took a booking and were polite and the meal was good. The prices were unbelievably reasonable and altogether this was well worth the 4 stars. Oh , and by the way, there IS air conditioning in the rooms. One thing we all agree on, the breakfast is spectacular. A great overnight stay.

Big room, good breakfast

Station area where the hotel is located has doesn't feel like the safest area in town. Much police was on site to keep an eye on the people hanging around there. Most complicated system to check into your room I have ever experienced

I was traveling with my dog and just staying overnight while passing through: pet friendliness and vicinity to the railway station were priorities and the hotel was perfect for that. The room was quiet and spacious and we had a great night's sleep.

We thought the breakfast expensive for what you got but generally we like this hotel having stayed before. The air conditioning worked well in the room.

We had an evening meal outside and thought the atmosphere a bit edgy!

Location was very good, right opposite the main train station. comfortable and spacious room. Strong Wi-Fi. Breakfast was good. Shopping area was about 1 km from the hotel.

Room rates are on the higher side.
