Mercure München City Center

The staff is very pleasant, helpful, and welcoming. On each small issue that we had, they responded immediately and did their best to compensate us for every small thing that happened. (like housekeeping skipping our room, room's key not working). Breakfast is fabulous with a wide variety of food, including gluten-free and lactose-free milk. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The parking garage is well located and has an elevator directly to the hotel.

The elevator got busy during rush hours, which makes us stand for a long time. Parking is public and expensive (paying every time you exit and come back) The location is fair close to public transportation, but the neighborhood is not that friendly though.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the reception staff were extremely helpful at all times. It is very close to the main station and under a 10 minute walk to the pedestrianised old city centre. the room was clean and spacious with a modern bathroom. The breakfast was good (although I have experienced better) with an adequate range of hot and cold food. Avoid the fried eggs - not freshly cooked to order.

The area in which this hotel (and many others) is located is safe, but not appealing for tourists - there are many beggars lining the route to the main tourist area - a very wealthy city within a wealthy country should do more to look after these people! The fried eggs - the scrambled eggs are much better!

It was super close to the train station so it was a 3 minute walk. Walking distance to a park and lots of shopping and even downtown. The hotel had a cool vibe, a good breakfast buffet, elevators, free coffee, hot chocolate and teas 24/7. Excellent staff, Sebastian was our favorite, and the room was big and comfortable.

The colorful neighborhood near the train station is a little Istanbul or little Nigeria. There is nothing German feeling about it. All immigrants with all the shots and food you’d expect. Some shifty characters out at all hours and the only police we saw were in that area dealing with issues. It was fine for us but if you don’t want to see lots of signs for erotica…you might not want to stay in another neighborhood.

I loved the hotel! The location was perfect near the train station the room was perfect, the service exceptional, the facility clean, the staff friendly knowledgeable helpful professional. My stay was comfortable the room was a two level suite which included amenities as well as a fully stocked refrigerator. I will return. I recommend them. Breakfast was also included it was the best i ever had. The restaurant is also recommended. I loved everything and recommend them. I will return. At the bar i recommend the blue wave which is absolutely delicious, thanks dimitri 😊

the room and bathroom was big and clean and comfortable. the bed was big and so comfortable. as a family of 4 (2 adults, one teenager and one pre teen) we were impressed by the size of the room as we had stayed in many hotels in Munich before and this is the most spacious room in the middle of Munich.

The hotel is near to the train station and it offers good breakfast. In addition, there is welcome coffee at the lobby for all their guests, and all food & drink items at the room's mini bar are FREE. My room is very big and it also comes with a coffee machine :)

I was given a room next to a main road and right above the hotel entrance. It was quite noisy at night with cars drive cross the main road and the hotel bar guests talking and laughing loudly. Hence, it may not be ideal if you are a light sleeper.

The hotel - I'll start from the end was simply excellent!!! Location - close to a central train station so it requires a short walk of up to 5 minutes. Staff - was very good, responded to any question and/or request, very high level of cleanliness. The breakfast - was just perfect, a large selection of light and hot drinks, a selection of: pastries, vegetables, fruits, milk. Public transportation - First, for those arriving from the airport, there is public transportation (S1 or S8) to the central station and from the central station it is about a 5-minute walk to the hotel. Second, at the central station there are transportation options to get to different places in the city (U, S, Taram and more).

There is nothing I didn't like, everything was as it should be even beyond expectations! I can't testify to a disadvantage or lack in one situation or another. Everything was fine.

Absolutely perfect in every way. I stay in a lot of hotels and I am usually very critical, but this hotel was fantastic. From the reception, to the room, everything was super. The mini bar is fully stocked and is free of charge including beer. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. I had a great night sleep. Check in and check out was very easy and the reception in every case was perfect. I can not say anything bad at all about this hotel. Highly recommend. Very good location next to the train station as well.

Spacious room with a free minibar that's restocked daily with water, drinks, chocolate, and a bag of crisps. The AC was very effective and quickly cooled down the room (compared to other hotels I've stayed in). Rooms had large shampoo and body wash bottles rather than the mini bottles you usually get in hotels. I'm also happy that staff allowed me an early check-in before 3 PM. Reasonable breakfast selection with a large dining area, my favourites being the chocolate-filled croissants and the cereal selection.

No room service (but to be fair there's a free minibar). Would've also been nice to have slippers in the room. What surprised me the most was the hotel's location, as it's surrounded by youth hostels and a casino, so I wouldn't have selected it if I were coming with family next time for example. There's no supermarket on the same road or opposite side of the road, and I couldn't find decent cafes nearby.

Great location close to main train station and marienplatz for all the Xmas market's. Spacious room with excellent extra large shower with great water pressure and lovely and warm. Extra large king bed, very comfortable. Buffet hot and cold breakfast with plenty of options for all tastes. Friendly helpful staff. A couple of beers, softdrinks and juices included each day as an added bonus. Pod coffee machine and tea available as well. Free coffee machine also available in the lobby. Overall excellent value for money. We had 4 night's and would definitely stay again. Supermarket and restaurants nearby as well.
